I do love Asmo, but istg that sort of shit genuinely brings out the worst of him, and in turn makes me think less of him- it was a really difficult story to get through for that reason, like. I just didn't want Asmo to win, he didn't deserve it! Especially when the thinly veiled popularity competition was originally meant to be about choosing the most respected demons, like... Asmo is very much not that, even if he's good at designing stuff...
