Do this again but with a multi bypass looper pedal thing and josh is blindfolded and you swap out pedals and he has to continuously jam for 4 hours and adapt to the new pedal each time. no stopping.

Protip, use a different-colored cables for 12/24V.
Or a little bit of colored electrical tape around the jack-end. I like to use orange, because it's the color of the fire that surely will erupt from your 9V pedal when you break it.

I think it might have been in the original attempt at the live stream… Josh was doing a lot of adjusting of that mode switch on the ALabs Orbital, getting great cascading arpeggios through the delay. So cool. He did a bit of it here. Seems like that pedal might be a cool one to get deeper into…

Hi guys. Thanks for your videos. Sometimes I manage to watch quite long ones. Interesting information. Actually, there are a lot of such videos on TH-cam. And all these videos about pedals, there are many comparison options. I could name some about the sound, but one way or another then it all comes down to the pedals. However, I would like to draw your attention to the excellent guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, whom you of course know well. His outstanding musical career, his magnificent songs, melodies and his amazing near-musical life allow him to live almost his entire life without pedals. Apart from his initial steps on the big stage, then this is actually the same formula - Brain - fingers - guitar - AIWA tape recorder - amplifier. That's all. Changing guitars and guitar components often changes the tone characteristics, but overall his sound is one of the best, if not the best, in the world. Over the years, millions of fans have tried to recreate the signature tone. A lot of different pedals have appeared during this time. But in reality, few people have managed to come close to this magical sound. The circuit of the AIWA tape recorder is seemingly simple, and therefore many people try to simply transfer this circuit inside the boxes we are used to, but the same sound is not generated there. Here is a rebus. Could you also set yourself the same challenge of getting that sound and tone out of the pedal, since AIWA tape recorder is simply no longer available for purchase?

Would love to see the Pigtronix Aria demoed. It’s older…it’s a drive pedal….but I love it. It’s versatile….its affordable and it’s great anywhere in the chain. First…last…first in the loop…last in the loop….in the loop of a Meet Maude….It could be your ONLY drive pedal. It’s ugly. It’s awesome.

Hi Josh! Why don't we see so many fuzz pedals using 5 transistors? Apart from the FZ-3 boss, what other examples do we have?

Question for you about boost pedals: Do most of them also attenuate? That is, when the pot is all the way down, is that zero signal, unity, or something else? Is that pretty consistent across boost pedals or do they tend to vary?

I remember seeing an overdrive or distortion pedal a couple of years back that was supposed to be the first one with a graphene clipping diode (it also had other diodes and transistors I believe), but I can't find it now. I remember there being a lot of news about it when it was released so I don't understand why it's so hard to find any info about it now. Does anyone here know what that pedal was called?

Correct. My first idea was to make a board fit inside same case, but I really didn't want to step on anyone's toes. So I made my own enclosure that looks very similar. Jacks are 3.0 inches apart, not 3.2, LED is in different spot, etc. I also used a smaller BB case instead of the taller BB2.
I've recently added a fully assembled version with larger knobs and gold paint...
Oh by the way, I'm also the guy who designed the analog & tube circuits in the Walrus SILT... ;)
