Please please please use Plumbella’s generator, again! You took what sounded like the WORST challenge I’ve ever seen and created the cutest little quirky townhouse. I want to play in this house so badly. It’s so cute!
Something about this build is giving me massive Sims 3 vibes. I think it's the wallpaper in the living room and the ever-so-slightly different yellows that feel like they were done with Create-a-Style.
That's very specific but I can definitely see it! It's 100% the wallpaper!

for me it's the opposite, on sims 3 i'd get the exact colour dragged onto everything so there were never different hues haha
I‘m also getting Animal Crossing vibes, I think it‘s all the open doorways and technically-not-separate-rooms
this is a house a dad built for their kid when she said once when she was 10 that she loves yellow and that she thought tudor style houses looked cool when they took a family trip.
and because she broke curfew at 16 he unhooked all the doors

this is what i would imagine a $3000 a month studio to be like lol without the walls.
also, idk if it would be cheating but i would have added curtains to the bathrooms to preserve a bit of dignity lmaoo

I would absolutely love to see you do the colouring book challenge… where you build a house and decorate everything in a white swatch. Then when you’ve finished you change all the swatches of everything (without replacing items) and see what it looks like. I sae Syd Mac do it and it looks like fun

"open concept toilet" made me crack up! can you imagine the smells that would come through the house?? hahaha
It's actually incredibly darling! In that cartoony, or animated way, reminds me of something from a stop-motion animation like Coraline. Very cute in its own quirky way. With doors it'd be a chef's kiss, hahah.
I don't know if it's the yellow or the bee window or what, but the exterior really reminds me of a bee hive or bee house 😂 I kind of love it though? it's got a cute Devon Bumpkin charm!
edit: after seeing the interior it's also very 70's. for what the challenge gave you, I think it looks cute!
Yess the bee window, the yellow AND how square and boxy it is😂. Its definitely a moment!! He killed this challenge in the best way and I bet he's sick of the color yellow by now😂

I thought you had to spend all of the money to the letter or to the number? Would putting up curtains in front of the entrance of the bathrooms make it a room? I actually love this house it is so cute it's very yellow but it is really pretty You should definitely upload this! 🎉
Oh, this was fun! The outside actually looks quite charming. If the fence was changed to white, and the roof was possibly darkened, I think it could really work. The inside is another story altogether. Oh my... But such a delight to watch you suffer, and fun to see different swatches of things that rarely get used. Plumbella made such a wicked challenge. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Would love it if you suffered through another! Sorry.
the shell looks great so far! i thought it was going to be hard, but i think you did really well , looks like some electic person bought a tudor home and renovated it modern

I am always confused by the VanGogh Bed, the two painting swatches look like CC and the origininal is based on VanGoghs actuall bed, that he had in his atelier... Like ? Who thought to put that in the game

Wow, two non-neutral builds in the same week! I’m loving all this color as much as I know you. Hate it! Really cute build. 😊. I will say though that you did not pass the challenge because you did not use the full budget. Jesse’s instructions said exactly… Oh, well, who cares 💛
As always, I love love love your commentary. Great job taking a decidedly DIFFICULT challenge and making it work! Yellows and oranges are honestly my least favorite colors so watching you make them shine was really gratifying. Side note: I *adore* your travel vlogs and would love to see you post more! I know they’re expensive, I understand. But watching you go out and exploring these really cool historic cites, and showing them to a silly yank like me, *sigh* I just love them. Keep up the lovely videos!

True story: I got this "assignment" yesterday and was all, "Build from the roof down????" and rage quit. You have given me hope. (And also did more with the color scheme than I would have thought possible.) Well done.

I found your channel a few weeks ago and you're already my favourite The Sims builder, I mean, look at you! I've seen so many content creators struggling with this challenge (which is not surprising at all) but you NAILED this house! Despite the "funny" colours, you made it into a beautiful house! 💛 I'm also glad you got a British style house because I love how you make them and I always find it very inspiring for my own builds (not to mention you're the best at terrain painting and decorating the outside which is very difficult to make it look so realistic).
You are the most creative builder. I never watch a video and think "he's done this before.." *ahem - blue suburban* 😂
The way you make any wallpaper, flooring or item work is incredible!
I think this is the 4th person I've watched do this challenge besides Jesse herself, and it is now that I am fully convinced they've made probably the best build challenge. None of them have been remotely similar, everyone has cursed Plumbella's very existence at one point or another, and everyone seems to be having a blast (and pulling off surprisingly lovely houses). It kind of reminds me of the TS2 days when there were regular community-wide challenges like Viking Death Squad Legacies, etc!

This video tickled me! I grew up in a home my mother grew up in as well where none of the rooms had doors except the bathroom. Privacy? Who is she? I wouldn't know. So thank you for this! 😂😂

Also when they mean build from the roof down you have to build the room then next floor furnish it then build the next floor furnish it then finally bottom but love the way you made it comfortable for you to build everyone interpret this challenge different

So pretty it looks like a Disney House, you did amazing with what you had as colours and yes I would like to see you do it again. Funny as I tried it and every 4 turns I was getting mostly black, grey and black or black and a colour, im a Goth so that was amusing!

It's gorgeous! Truly. I'm serious. Well done! Would it be cheating to put up a curtain for doors? You could build the wall, put up a curtain, then knock down that part of the wall. It would still count as 1 room and Sims will walk through.
