What a great sport. This was kind of uncomfortable, but he stayed patient and forged ahead. I'm sure he learned something new. He's no singer, but took the time out if his work to participate with you. What a great guy! I hope he continues and gets lessons with you.

Omg this was SOOOO COOL! You're very sweet and he clearly improved indeed! I'm 100% sure he would've been even better if he wasn't singing in front of a lot of people in the street haha
I really think he improved. It really can be hard for some people to be able to find a pitch, but when he did, he was able to actually follow it! Good Job guys!
Bless your heart, Tara! lol I have to admit, anytime anyone approaches me in this way, I tuck my head and start mumbling "no thank you" before they even tell me what they want 🤦 Good on you for persistence! And good on Etias (sp?) for his persistence! You can tell that was way out of his comfort zone and really difficult for him, but he pushed himself and didn't allow himself to back down. He should be really proud of himself because I know it wasn't easy for him!
Nice to leave the denials in, they are actually funny ;-) But respect for the guy stopping work and get worked over by you. And he improved! Keep it up!
When he first sang I could tell he was singing too low for his voice at the moment, it just felt like there wasn't much connection, his voice felt like it had too much fry in it, bringing him up the octave, although it took some work, most definitely immediately improved the sound a lot, and the few times where he opened his mouth more there was a very sizable difference in tone and volume. So yeah, he definitely sang better the second time, but you could tell what was holding him back the most was nerves, if he was alone he'd have probably felt more comfortable and done even better.
Can you please react to Faouzia, she is a brilliant singer and song writer. Specifically listen to her “This Mountain- acoustic” song. It’s really good and I would like to learn how to sing it
#Tarabytes Awesome as always!!! Thank you for this video Tara!!! Had some laughing moments whoops. Sorry Tara!!! Once you got the keys sorted!!! BETTER IN SECONDS!!! YES!!! Love how you got him to the higher octaves. Great Octave Ranges raised!!! Lovely, just proves how great a coach you are. Thank You!!! 👍👍👍👌👌👌🥇🏆💜💜💜💛💛💛
Poor guy. Totally nervous. But huge improvement just getting him to sing in a higher key in a short amount of time. As a choir director, I learned some tricks here on getting my tenors to get up on pitch. Hey!! Thanks!
Not from US, but would love to know how to work on my falsetto so it would sound more like proper head voice. Maybe you do a video on working on head voice. Vibrato too, but I have so much pitch issues when I use pitch detector and try to sing straight tone, it comes on high notes as a vibrato/tremolo. Nonetheless, great video, so encouraging to learn how to sing. You are such an inspiration!
this is pretty cool, i hadn't seen this "in seconds" bit in your channel before and i'm enjoying it. so thank you. i do hear that he got better, however, and i say this with respect, you also kept singing the "where" in your same note 😆 you asked him to go higher while you stayed in the same note so there wasn't a guide for him to follow in knowing what "higher" meant. i know YOU know what you're talking about, and other vocalists and singers might know what you mean by "higher" but to someone who doesn't know the vernacular, "higher" sounds like the dictionary definition of going up (physically). so, maybe keep that in mind, that to an outsider, the words you use do not have the same meaning. but once he understood that higher meant a change in sound he did do well.👍 God bless.
I just found your channel through the video of your reaction to Pentatonix hallelujah I think you would also very much enjoy I found by amber run ft. The London contemporary voices it is a beautiful arrangement and the harmonies are absolutely gorgeous
He was so lovely. This is an awkward position to be in if you’re shy but he did really well. Also I know you don’t make these anymore but next time maybe edit out the people who clearly don’t want to be on camera at all.
I think you'd get better results if you said your name, give a big compliment, tell them what you do and what you wanna do with them. Then if they agree reintroduce yourself then ask for their name. It gives you a chance to tell them that they're getting something for free that other people have to pay for, and eases their tension. Having a stranger, who might be trying to make you look bad, come at you with a microphone and asking your name makes people clam up if they're introverts. So you gotta be extra cheery, make the mic seem like no big deal (ignoring it to compliment them or chat for a second), then let them know you're not out to get them while creating value in what you wanna do. You'll still get "no" some but I bet a lot more people would say yes.
She talked a bit about jaw tension. Is that related to tongue tension as well? I submitted one of my music videos to another vocal coach, and she said I have tongue tension. So I’m trying to get rid of all these tensions in my body holding me back from being a great singer.
If your tongue is sliding towards the back of your throat, that's what they call tongue tension. You need to bring your tongue to the front of your mouth, just behind your bottom teeth, or even a little higher than that if you can. As long as it's toward the front. Keep it nice and relaxed and forward. Doing this does help you lower your jaw a little more, but you got to do both.
omg I would love to hear your reaction to Krysta Rodriguez singing “Pulled” from The Addams Family musical (she has GREAT diction)! and more Broadway reactions in general ☺️💖
Sirro she shoves a mic in people’s face and you think she gets turned down because women are jealous of her and not because they’re in a store trying to enjoy their coffee?
honestly...with the first woman...she already kind of ignored you, meaning she just wanted to be left alone, which made you a bit rude by pushing it more...in cafes people like to be left alone for a reason...
He was such a good sport! I was singing with him. Great job! Major likes for this video. He sure did sing better in seconds.
He did get better but, in a room with no one else around he would have gotten much better
Kenaniah Hall It’s hard singing in front of a camera! And she has over 300,000 followers here, so it’s a very large audience.
I bet he sings much better in the shower. The camera is a bit scary.
I love how patient you are in teaching other people. You're such a great coach. I wish I could be your student but I'm from another country.
What a great sport. This was kind of uncomfortable, but he stayed patient and forged ahead. I'm sure he learned something new. He's no singer, but took the time out if his work to participate with you. What a great guy! I hope he continues and gets lessons with you.

Where's that cafe. I should visit it more often.
I love the part with the yu-gi-oh! sound

Definitely an improvement, though not bad at the beginning either
He has a nice voice period. If he pursued a singing career, I bet he would do well
Come to sweden and do same, learn me to sing better🙃
He was so lovely. This is an awkward position to be in if you’re shy but he did really well. Also I know you don’t make these anymore but next time maybe edit out the people who clearly don’t want to be on camera at all.

Dude you can’t just walk up to people in a coffee shop and shove a microphone and camera in their face. I don’t blame the people for turning you down.
I would never turn her down!
Its not that you cant its more of you shouldnt lol but yea itd be akward lol
She's hot af. The main ppl turning her down were other women for obvious reasons lol
She can and she did😂😂🤷🏾♀️
Sirro she shoves a mic in people’s face and you think she gets turned down because women are jealous of her and not because they’re in a store trying to enjoy their coffee?
Can you react to Billie Eilish performing when the party’s over on the Howard stern show please !

He sure was!
I was singing with him too even though I don't know the song.
He's good, but the nerves got the better of him for sure!
