  • Welcome Gardeners! My project for today is working in my Cut and Come Again Cut Flower Garden. I am loving the ease and simplicity of this garden knowing that I can keep harvesting all season, and I will keep getting more and more blooms to appreciate! 🌸 Enjoy!

I love that you leave the natural noises in the video and not overlayed with music. Feels like I’m gardening by your side!❤

Over here in the U.K. we have been getting those types of temps. And people online say we are wimps. But we do it all with no air conditioning, no pools and houses that are built to keep the heat in. It also doesn’t cool at night. So sleeping on 90 degrees is just awful.

The Brits are NO wimps! ❤️🤍💙😉

I covered my sunflower seeds with chicken wire and that seems to help. The ones I didn't cover became a buffet for the birds!! 😞😞 This video was a reminder to cut my flowers!!! So, I went out and did that. As hard as it was, I now have three beautiful bouquets!! And the benefit is my flowers will be more productive for the season! Thank you!

The flower are so pretty. Enjoy! I was surprised you left seed pods on the sweet peas. It would be good to snip those off too. Lucky you to go jump in a pool afterwards!

Everything is looking beautiful. The sweet pea colors are just gorgeous. I understand what you mean about acclimate to the heat. It takes a little bit even though you know it's going to get hotter you're used to the cooler weather and then BAM all of a sudden heat! So it takes a little bit to acclimate. Totally get what you're saying.❤

Your cut flower garden is looking great Janey! I like to garden under an umbrella as well l, but I like to use a beach umbrella because it is light weight and already has a stake on the end. I just stick the stake in the ground wherever I need to work and attach the other half with the umbrella. I used it this past weekend when it was 89 outside and I stayed cool all day for 7 hours! 😁

I would love to have an area like this! Do you grow much lavender for cutting? I feel like it'd do well where you are. Hidcote has thin dainty blooms that would like nice with the arrangements you like to do. 😀

Your cut flowerbed looks good and I have a few of the same plants. I think I started my seed early cause my zinnias are blooming here in zone 7. Plus your Ranunculus korms why do you dig them up in your zone?
