- We take our last trip to our cabin of the winter. The rivers will start breaking up soon. We install window sills I built in the cabin, install doors and chink the sauna/outhouse.
Finally, someone on TH-cam knows how to load a wood stove! Most people only put one or two logs on at a time. Enjoyed the video.
I love the way they put shoes on the dogs to protect them from the snow. I’d love a cabin like this! Stunning 🤩
That’s so awesome the dog didn’t want to go home. I wouldn’t either.
Lovely cabin, so well built. I enjoyed watching your dogs. They certainly enjoy the cabin. I had to laugh when in the cabin you open the door they can’t get outside fast enough, they are thinking freedom let me out here. Beautiful spot to get away enjoy, priceless, so cosy.
I admire folks like you that have the skill to build things out of wood. Great content
Thanks for shareing your trip to camp take care see you next time stay safe.
It's soooooo beautiful there. Y'all are so lucky to see snow.
Doggies enjoying their free "uber" ride home, precious!
I agree it is nice to be rich... well spent. In the 70s I heard some folks in New Mexico say, "The out house is too far away from the house in the winter and too close to the house in summer"... looks nice.
You have a pretty cabin,l think its sweet that you let your dog ride in buggi 👏👍🤩
Great video, I like the looks of the door on your Sauna also your pups ride well in the pup mow bile I have always enjoy looking at the timber up in that country big trees really like my Wood Mizer LT 35 hydraulic saw mill.
You Sir are a very figure outer good to find your channel lost you folks there for awhile May the Lord continue to bless your family
Took 40 years of 10s of thousands of flies in an old seldom used farmhouse and found the solution by accident. When you leave in the fall leave a 20 pound propane tank inside with the valve just slightly open. No more flies.
That place is awesome and those dogs personality really come to life out there I bet.
Yeah flies unfortunately are a big problem in log homes. But what a beautiful place you have.
It was my first time watching your video I enjoyed every bit of it I love your dogs 💪👍😊
What a simply beautiful cozy cabin! Just love it! You do beautiful work!❤
Great Video! All the cabin woodwork. 🪚 🪓 🪵 Making things 🐿️ squirrel tight. Making that heater work again making old things wirk again...nice. GREAT JOB! Cant wait for the next. Cheers 🍻
Thanks 👍
❤❤the dogs eating rose hips ❤❤ such good cabin companions
After the window trim you'll have to build a railing in the kids loft.
Ya I’ve got that on the list
Great video ! Got a dog just like Oakley that hates to leave the cabin !
Excellent video man! Look forward to seeing some summertime fishing videos out at your cabin!
How Are Yall Doing!? Yall Have A Very Nice Cabin. May The Lord Be With Yall Always Gainesville, Florida

Hey How Are You Doing!? Yall Have A Very Nice Cabin. May The Lord Be With Yall Always Gainesville,,Florida
Nice job!
Love the cabin I could live there year round
Nice work !
Your videos are so enjoyable to watch ❤
Glad you like them!
Nice job👍
very creative 👍
Nice job!!!!!
Good Job
Thank you
My stomach hurts so bad with laughing 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Very nice
I hope you move to solar for your power later on…that generator just diminishes the tranquility of being in the woods. At our camp on the lake, we had generators blasting on both sides….all evening and into the night. There was no peace and tranquility!! I always wonder what the wildlife does to get away from it?! Run…deeper probably. 😅
Oakley was not happy about leaving his squirrel friends..
thank for sharing good job
Moonbat heaven. What the hell does he do all day except walk to the outhouse & back?
Great video and that cabin is very nice. I just love dogs and when the one dog did't wanna leve, i had a giggle 😂 I have 2 boxers ❤ I hope you can tell us what you gays eat while filming. As a Norwegian i don't have a clue. I know beef, burgers and bacon but the sidedish? The one that look like sheese but did't melt f.eks.
Love from Linda.
Those were shrimp and for burgers we eat moose that we harvested for steaks I buy beef
Wondering why when I try to give you a thumbs up it says resource has been exhausted (quota). Ive never had that happen. Anyway good video.
Finall6 let me after I watched it a second time.
Stop by for a beer sometime, second house on Regius Ave. Just finished the shop siding. Matt.
I’m 1/2 mile from ya end of Nelson watched you build that shop
Nice! Love the dogs and their transport thing. What model Honda generator?
Oakley usually doesn’t need a coat. Paisley wears a coat most of the winter when outside but it was pretty warm out the last couple days of this trip
I just found your channel love your log home. Do you do all the work? You cut lumber, you chop firewood, install the window sill, you make the fire and you cook dinner too.
Yes we did all the work, most of the lumber was cut from the trees on the property
Chimney should be 10' out from the roof and 3' above the peak!
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤

Just happened to find your channel - and I certainly think I will enjoy watching. I love watching anything associated with Alaska! What part of Alaska are you located? Looking forward to seeing your next video!
We are in the interior, we live in North Pole and the cabin is on a river near Nenana
I like the cart for the dogs, did you make it? If bought, where?
Yes I built it here is one of the videos of how I mounted it to a newer snowmachine suspension

That's some big beaver lodge at your dock. Did you have some beaver steak or is the beavers no longer there. Just came across your channel 👍🏻
I have been dumping trees and limbs there for years trying to stop the erosion
cant wait to see your main house to be built, great vlogs
Put some foam inside as well
Yep that’s the plan I will put fiberglass insulation back in and then foam the inside just like the outside
O didn't want to go home.
Una stufetta del genere non è sufficiente, messa in un angolo poi non è il massimo.
Da noi nelle Dolomiti abbiamo delle stufe quattro volte tanto.
This vehicle needs a closed cabin with hot air conditioning.
Don't you clean your grill it look pretty dirty
where are the poor dogs coats . ???
It was to warm the long haired dog rarely needs one the short haired has and wears when needed
♥️❤️🤍💖💝❣️💜💙😇
The author of the video has got far too complicated with his interpretation of his outhouse needs. He does NOT need a ventilation pipe to aerate stink. All that is needed is lime sprinkled on top of every dump. For seven years my parents purchased, unsuccessfully, over priced "Misto Van" to dilute the stink at their Muskoka Haliburton summer cottage.
In 1976 at the same cottage, I obtained lime and applied it after every dump, there was no stink. Lime is ant-acid. Human waste is acidic. The lime neutralizes the acidic. Plus, if the bacteria are instead encouraged for breakdown are utilized as aerobic as opposed to anaerobic, the stink factor is greatly reduced. Anyone who knows beans about composting understands the difference of using the anaerobic method vs. the aerobic method.
