It is a great privilege to have someone as skilled as you explaining every sigle detail on high level matches. Your videos are masterclasses, thank you.
Another phenomenal video Arne. Thank you so much for giving such a detailed evaluation of your plays and thought patterns. This is amazingly valuable content for anyone who wants to become a better magic player.
Just found your channel - incredible content. Please consider putting out this sort of detailed analysis on regular arena matches as well. Even if the opponents are lower caliber I would gladly watch more of this.
At 16:00, I believe it was the correct play to put it on the nemesis. I think if he did have a removal spell, he would have definetely played that over siren, so they could only topdeck it.
27:50 - I like the line with using Torch w/ bargain (Mouse) on the Curiosity the best, then cast mouse w/ offspring the turn later. They only have one card left in hand and would likely be completely out of gas otherwise.
Thanks, love this! Hey at 14:40 looks like you gave the nemesis trample instead of double strike (which I think is right). So why didn’t the nemesis trample over the siren and kill the opponent with 4 trample damage? Never mind, I forgot that manifold can only give things to mice, he gave himself trample and couldn’t attack.
Intersting moment on 14:00 - y may don't use torch, opp need to tap out on his turn to use drowner's ability, so next turn u can attack for 3 and then finish him with torch targeting ur nemesis. On 26:00 I also fall into ur line with killing attacking creature with torch, not 2×torch on curiosity, it's just very lucky opponent with this punishment
Opp doesnt need to use drowner on their turn, they can pass chump block and activate. Then you cant even torch bc they can activate in respones going down 2 cards.. Its best to just kill drowner and keep your mouse in play.
Man, I have not seen a series of such brutal opening hands and mulligan decisions. a hand with multiple rages, talents, and nemeses. in my comment on part 1 i questioned 4x talent and 4x rage in a field full of great black spot removal. results oriented i konw but I see a lot of openers here with those cards in them and they just look bad.
Gold content. Really a masterclass indeed. What do you think about urabrask forge? I guess it’s a good side if u expect a lot of dimir and midrange decks in general…
I think it's fine against Dimir, but not good against Golgari (Archfiend,Glissa, artifact removal). It's really bad against white control decks nowadays (it used to be solid there) cause most of them run Authority, which shuts off Forge completely for just one mana. All in all not a fan of running the card these days.
them not using the map game 2, could it just represent a phantom interferance as well and they might not have it even? (watching in hindsight ofc after them not playing anythign end of turn)
At the top level players will play around snakeskin by tapping out on their turn so in open deck list you are already gaining the value from it even if you take it out
No way it would have worked thanks to drowner and the gft, but technically double striking all the mouses and scorching own hero was lethal. Opponent might wall asleep and hit resolve all as they do :)
Disclaimer: noob speaking. At minute 29:27 : why not blocking with one of the creature + torch the curiousity. It's a 1 for 2 but at least you RFP the curiosity ...

I love these breakdowns

You can't bargain non-token creatures
Nothing like starting the day with more Arne! Love the review!

@nguyencuongn no, on ur turn he can't chump and activate it, cause mouse haven't counter now

talent over mouse on turn 3 because of the offspring potential?
Anybody knows why to board out Snakeskin Veil vs Dimir? Isn't that supposed to be a great card against black removal?

@@poluros7115 it's good on the play, but bad on the draw

The phases bug happens all the time, so annoying.
38:30 seems like very bad line to t3 just lvl up talent even if opp woudn't have tidebinder, u need to do something
