They could've of at least upped the pearl drop rate too, it's still way too low to the point you have to spend hours upon hours to get one and then it ends up just being a shield.

I think the game was more focused on making it easier to play rather then fixing glitches Alot of the glitches with weapon spawns like the plague still being a cruch
Both The Penetrator and Draco now show up as legendaries (the way it was originally intended), so it isn't like Gearbox totally neglected all glitches. Rather, they fixed some and tweaked others so as to make the game more enjoyable.
I always went to the right side of the doorway anyway, I didn't realize anything had changed. They did fix the bug where there was a chest inside another chest in the Armory, so I know they thought about the Farmory, but they made the conscious decision to leave it in for us.

Gearbox with this glitch and Crawmerax spot is an awesome gesture to how they treat their community over the last 10 years. I’m really looking forward to my Super Deluxe Edition of BL3 on September 13th for the PS4 Pro! Alright vault hunters... go get those Pearlescent and Legendaries!

I like the hyperion gift shop way better. I'd have to say if you want loot then go to tatarus station instead and do that dlc. Much shorter and with a permanently open final loot room.
Thanks! I was used to the old glitch. BTW, it's no longer a bad idea to go into the "elevator" or "danger" room; nothing at all happens when you go in there. I know, because I tried to trigger the countdown after I was done looting (Can you believe that there were only FOUR fucking legendaries? No pearlescents, but that wasn't exactly a surprise. You get MUCH better loot from that basement in Tartarus Station; I don't EVER turn it in so I can farm it to my heart's desire).
(1) My experience is that I can frequently go to the Tartarus chest room and not get any legendaries. I rarely get fewer than 5 legendaries in the Armory. (2) I turn in the Tartarus (MINAC) mission after my first visit to the chest room and farm it as often as I want.
Thankw for that. I did wonder because I was playing yesterday and noticed they "fixed" the easy way to do the Roid Rage Psycho. There's one more glitch I commonly use in The Lost Cave. I'll be interested to see if they've done anything about that. I always assumed GBX put the Armory glitch in to make up for the underwhelming Destroyer reward. I'm glad they've left it in. It's become part of the game,
I'm am autistic as such I am not particularly good at exploiting glitches but this one was so simple I was able to achieve it. It was lovely to be able to just walk about without some timer giving you just a few seconds to exploit an armory of truly epic size. I did not get many gold items like 4. I got a few pearlescent weapons. it was worth it. I did not go near that elevator so I can go back again and again. If you just want to finish the game do the following. Wait till after you have finished collecting your vault loot. Then end the game. Close the application and save a copy of your game progress to a usb drive or your PS Plus online storage. Now you have to playthrough again whip General Knox and take all steps to end the game as usual. Enter the vault as expected with the timer going and end the DLC successfully Now you get your trophy and related stuff. Once you get everything you want from the ending close the application and download your previous save to your PS4. Now you have your Knox glitch back to enjoy. Oh and I am pretty sure you know about being able to farm a loot box in T-Bone Junction. The loot box is across the street from Scooters garage. Down the steps to the right at the bottom of the steps past two small money boxes. Hang a left. Run down the broken walkway and jump across the gap to the other walk way. Walk and take the next right. Take the final left and you should see a red loot box and three money boxes. Take the high value guns and whatever then turn them in for cash. Farm this to get full ammo capacity from the ammo machine in the station.
Just here to say you can walk into that elevator room and grab the chests and continue further up to get more loot it won’t mess up your run, don’t know what joltz is talking about

Also craw ledge is different. Your bullets hit the ground in front of you when you go for the back crit. You gotta do a well timed clutch shot where you uncrouch, shoot then crouch again. Like this comment so everyone sees it!

I heard they left the "glitch" on purpose. It's a better feelin when completing the game and being able to totally loot and get whatever u want from the gun vault
I just came to comment years later that I just found a way to get into the armory if you go into the elevator room by accident. Granted, it only works if you play as Roland, and I say this because this method involves a LOT of grenade jumping. To make it very short, you just need to grenade jump to the top of the actual armory building itself. It is possible, due to the lack of invisible barriers, apparently...
I believe they kept these glitches for nostalgia reasons one of the best parts of these games of these glitches! The nostalgia of farming legendarys with your friends on Xbox live.. getting your first good legendary and using it for 10 levels.. ah good times
If you're doing the glitch on the original armory assault mission, you can go anywhere you want in the armory because it won't trigger any objectives to enter the round elevator. Only on the Marcus raids do you have to avoid that room. Unless this changed in the remaster. Edit: This is on the mission with the objective "Expose Munitions." Confirmed this earlier. If you do the glitch before exposing munitions, you can go anywhere you want in the armory using the glitch and do it an infinite number of times.
I'm at the "expose munitions" quest. I haven't started it, but I have entered the quest area. Do I still follow the video or do I need to do something else first?
While borderlands 1 was fun, the base game barely had replayability ( unlike borderlands 2) the fact that gearbox kept this glitch in the game means they know what their fans want
Is it just that room you can't go into, or is it anywhere near the waypoint marker for the mission? Because there's a floor above the no go room, and there's some chests there. There's also a bridge that extends out on the second floor to a couple of chests. Thanks for the video. You actually can go loot the entire place (on xbox at least) as i went out of the first room you drop into and no timer went off and i stayed there for well over the time limit you’d normally have i didnt go past the elavtor shaft though to get to the 1 room with a crimson lance chest so your able to loot all but one room
Also I think they fixed the bad armory glitch, where you would join someone doing super marcus sweep or it's like christmas, and it would glitch out your missions making you unable to access the armory until you got someone trustworthy to help you fix it in co-op? Yeah, I tested it out and I'm pretty sure it's fixed after all these years. Now if they would only make craw STOP dropping the new gearbox legendaries and buff his awesome level a bit... kinda bullshit how the hyperion gift shop is better for getting super rare guns than fucking SOLO killing crawmerax. But alas, I have still yet to try the good old Farmory, think I might fire up borderlands remaster right now.

Eridian weapons are way more common and I don’t like it because the chest can only hold one erididan gun, 3 chests in the claptrap dlc loot room are white Chests now
I accidentally did this glitch and got myself locked out of the armory forever when I went near the elevator shaft. Any idea how I can fix this on PS4?
@@theguywholikesturtlez I have an idea. I'll be connecting a second control and speed running an alt account through playthrough 1 then the dlc in playthrough 2. Can fix it by doing so but it's tedious.

Also, you can loot the vault regularly but before time expires, save and quit. This will let you walk right into the exit and loot without a timer. Only tried this on the first time you get to the vault in playthrough 2. Be wary, if you loot everything then leave the area, it completes the mission for you.
I love how you called it the vault. The actual "vault" in BL1 was such a massive disappointment. You're really hyped up the entire game to find this mysterious vault, and hoping for some epic loot, just to find it being a major dud. The Knoxx DLC added a real kind of "vault" and really fixed the game in my opinion.
I remain completely unconvinced this is a glitch, given how long it's been left in (now multiple versions) of the game. I'd like to think it's just a weird easter egg working as intended, especially since it's always happened to drop you onto a helpful platform so cleanly. Anyway I'm finally getting around to the Remaster, loving it, and I'm very glad to see this is still in.

Question, the community patch for bl2 and tps isn’t working for me since the 4K update was added as the console isn’t working anymore as when I type “exec patch.txt” it shows up as a chat message and yes I have checked if it’s named correctly and all is anybody having the same problem or is it just me?
you’re gonna have to find someone with that mission not completed yet complete it, then get the feels like christmas mission from marcus for a third shot at armory.
So as long as you have a certain quest uncompleted and don't go into the elevator room area you can come to the chests as often as you want, like the hyperion gift shop exploit? I have not done this dlc yet.

There are no pearlescent weapons in that area. They can only be obtained inside the general knoxx DLC

They Removed the Chest in Arid Badlands. But the Green claptrap is still there, but there is an invisible wall.

Just don't turn in the last quest and you can keep glitches into it without being restricted from the elevator

Is it just that room you can't go into, or is it anywhere near the waypoint marker for the mission? Because there's a floor above the no go room, and there's some chests there. There's also a bridge that extends out on the second floor to a couple of chests.
Thanks for the video. I did the glitch, and I got like 4 legendaries and a few eridian weapons without breaking the game. Or at least I hope I didn't break the game, nothing got checked.

You actually can go loot the entire place (on xbox at least) as i went out of the first room you drop into and no timer went off and i stayed there for well over the time limit you’d normally have i didnt go past the elavtor shaft though to get to the 1 room with a crimson lance chest so your able to loot all but one room
Die after looting the room. The chest will reset

The red chest room at the end of the Claptrap DLC is pretty good
Also I think they fixed the bad armory glitch, where you would join someone doing super marcus sweep or it's like christmas, and it would glitch out your missions making you unable to access the armory until you got someone trustworthy to help you fix it in co-op? Yeah, I tested it out and I'm pretty sure it's fixed after all these years. Now if they would only make craw STOP dropping the new gearbox legendaries and buff his awesome level a bit... kinda bullshit how the hyperion gift shop is better for getting super rare guns than fucking SOLO killing crawmerax. But alas, I have still yet to try the good old Farmory, think I might fire up borderlands remaster right now.
I'm glad they dent fix it but I wish they would have put fast travel in the DLC it makes farming it a pain
hopefully the oasis mod on pc will get a way to work in the game

What they did was smart. Now it wont affect the average player and you have to be more deliberate when getting into the glitch.

Has Gearbox patched this out in the years since the making of the video? I am unable to get it work by following the instructions in the video. I thought I had been able to do it in the past with GOTY enhanced.
Eridian weapons are way more common and I don’t like it because the chest can only hold one erididan gun, 3 chests in the claptrap dlc loot room are white Chests now
Also Draco is fixed I believe. Got a legendary Draco from the gold chest
What about the barrier blocking the way will that still be blocked off if you leave and come back?

@@theguywholikesturtlez I have an idea. I'll be connecting a second control and speed running an alt account through playthrough 1 then the dlc in playthrough 2. Can fix it by doing so but it's tedious.
If you still have the mission from the main story then you can go past the elevator room. I just did it.
Hey Joltz, the recent update to Borderlands 2 broke the Community Patch. Just letting you know, if you didn't already.
It still works, but you have to use a hex editor instead of blcmm or the multitool.

Also, you can loot the vault regularly but before time expires, save and quit. This will let you walk right into the exit and loot without a timer. Only tried this on the first time you get to the vault in playthrough 2. Be wary, if you loot everything then leave the area, it completes the mission for you.
I love how you called it the vault. The actual "vault" in BL1 was such a massive disappointment. You're really hyped up the entire game to find this mysterious vault, and hoping for some epic loot, just to find it being a major dud. The Knoxx DLC added a real kind of "vault" and really fixed the game in my opinion.
Should have shown the grenade jump method of re-farming too!

I remain completely unconvinced this is a glitch, given how long it's been left in (now multiple versions) of the game. I'd like to think it's just a weird easter egg working as intended, especially since it's always happened to drop you onto a helpful platform so cleanly. Anyway I'm finally getting around to the Remaster, loving it, and I'm very glad to see this is still in.

You can hug the wall to get through the elevator room to open the chests across the room. Don't take the lift on the other side though.
I'm glad Gearbox kept this in in some form.

If you didnt finish the first mission letting you get to the armory you can go through the elevator. Unsure about the other two missions though.
The armory it doesn't matter, the other two missions it does and if you fuck up.its permanently glitched gg

You can just save quit, as long as you dont go into that elevator room. If it becomes checked, then you quit out of the game without saving.

Question, the community patch for bl2 and tps isn’t working for me since the 4K update was added as the console isn’t working anymore as when I type “exec patch.txt” it shows up as a chat message and yes I have checked if it’s named correctly and all is anybody having the same problem or is it just me?

you’re gonna have to find someone with that mission not completed yet complete it, then get the feels like christmas mission from marcus for a third shot at armory.

So as long as you have a certain quest uncompleted and don't go into the elevator room area you can come to the chests as often as you want, like the hyperion gift shop exploit? I have not done this dlc yet.
