Nobody can guard him when he gets going. Batum and Covington gave him the best challenge out of everyone
What he did in the playoffs should erase anymore doubts people have left. Not only his first series wver but against the top team with a dpoty runner up guarding him and he not only put up a nonchalant 28 a game but lead the team. He looked like a top 10 to top 15 player.
BI’s shooting improvement is unreal. He has put in so much work, and also Fred Vinson is a wizard. BI gets most of the credit for putting the work in though. There aren’t many players with his wingspan that can shoot like that. I think players should be coached on shooting form somewhat due to arm length. Klay is the perfect form, but I don’t think BI or KD could shoot that way. KD is just a god with savant level touch. BI is almost a 2 eyed shooter with the way he pulls the ball high above and to the right of his head. That lets the shot flow smoothly from pickup to release despite his crazy long arms. It’s basically a two motion shot, but it’s smooth enough to call it 1 and a half. Anything more compact or in front of his right eye would have his elbow kicking out like crazy. I wonder how much Fred Vinson considered arm length when helping BI get better.
