Ave Virgo Virginum / Gaudeamus Pariter (Come, ye faithful) - Anon/Jan Roh - Arr. Noel Rawsthorne

- I've always known this melody as Ave Virgo Virginum, which was noted as being first sighted in Johannes Leisentritt's 'Catholicum Hymnologium Germanicam' circa 1580. However, Hymnary.org attributes the tune to Johann Cornu Johann Horn John Horn Roh, (Jan Roh), a priest, then bishop born in Domascbitz, Bohemia.
In addition to ministry, he also composed a number of hymns, and edited the 1541 Bohemian Hymn Book.
This arrangement includes a last verse reharmonization by the late amazing Noel Rawsthorne, which was so much fun to play.
