I'm 56 yrs old. When I was 11 in 1974, I inherited my grandmother's 1915 Victrola. It was full of music from this era. Some were even the same songs. Loved 'em then ... love 'em now. Thanks a million! Your quality is fantastic. My old Victrola has worn these records down to quite a bit.

Damn it, Bob, you're doing it again! How on earth do you manage come up with such wonderful selections each and every time. And 90% and more of your transfers are superb quality wise too. It already goggles my mind imagining you just FINDING the discs, but in such quality too.
Joe Sanders is one of the few band leaders that could sing well.
You're absolutely right about Round My Heart, Bob. My body is swaying and my feet itch. Superb one!
IIRC TH-camr *phredl* has provided Bob with loads of quality originals.
phredl (Fred) provides me with copies of his recordings which I remaster. Everything he provides dates from between 1926 and 1938. He only does dance band records and certain ones in particular. All of the vocalists recordings, acoustics, organ and about half of the British recordings are from my personal collection. I also have a very large collection of dance band music and always hunt for the obscure bands and singers. All of the Edgar Hayes, Mal Hallett, Teddy Grace, Bob Crosby, latin records, Reisman, Whiteman/Ramona, actually most of the Whiteman's , Jimmie Grier, Johnny Green, Richard Himber, most of the Gibbons with Boy Friends, Jack Jackson, Bertinis, Billy Merrin, (anything on the English Crown label) and many others are from my personal collection. I would venture to guess I own over 5000 records and many of them I have yet to listen to yet. I bought so many in 2015 and 2016 that I haven't had time to transfer them yet.
@@pax41 I'm in my late 70s so I grew up hearing 1930s music from my parents - but you post so many fantastic songs and music that I've never heard before. And I agree with Peter Hentriksma's comments - you have a special talent of creating great selections that fit moods and styles in any one posting!

These are fantastic! Listening to this at work and can hardly control my feet and keep still to do my work. All selections are so entertaining! Thank you so much for all the work you have done to maintain this channel. This Era of music is GREAT! Every musician playing their instruments. Love the clarinet, trumpet, with piano and oftentime tuba in background. And, the vocals. I am totally unfamiliar with these bands and the singers but they are becoming my entertainers! FANTASTIC.

Sorry about slow response and hope you had a wonderful Easter. The garden is keeping me very busy. The state of things in the world and this country has made me have to focus on being more off grid. The very large garden, 600 square feet takes a lot of time. Working on another post for all to enjoy.
