True, but there's no real defensive tanking when it comes to having to go through your progressions and make your throws timely and location-minded. I think even against Bills' starters Milton would've had a solid performance and some big flashes. *YES…Mayo should’ve been fired. Did his team have a massive lack of talent? Yes. But he did little to nothing in developing or establishing a culture or identity with this squad. Especially on the defensive side of the ball where Mayo is supposed to be a specialist. The veterans they had from last year regressed and the Top 10 defense they had fell all the way to the bottom of the league. Yes there was injuries but fundamentally there were no signs of improvement late in the season. He made countless errors on the field that displayed he had no idea what he was doing or the situational awareness. He constantly showed he had a lack of communication with his other coaches especially with AVP with a focal point being the Cardinals game. Despite the lack of talent the players were undisciplined and lacked the fundamentals that a good coaching staff should be establishing. ALL of this and I haven’t even mentioned his WEEKLY foot in mouth comments that constantly undermined himself. And then every single Monday he would have to walk it back. It got to be so repetitive that the national media caught on and joked about it. Saying he was going to sit players for disciplinary reasons and then last minute deciding to start them. It’s just impossible to take someone seriously as a player, coach, fan or press member when you constantly display you have no idea what you’re talking about. He should’ve been fired after the Chargers game let alone the Cardinals game. This team top to bottom was completely dysfunctional and you could tell by the amount of fans or there lack of in the seats on Sundays.*

*YES…Mayo should’ve been fired. Did his team have a massive lack of talent? Yes. But he did little to nothing in developing or establishing a culture or identity with this squad. Especially on the defensive side of the ball where Mayo is supposed to be a specialist. The veterans they had from last year regressed and the Top 10 defense they had fell all the way to the bottom of the league. Yes there was injuries but fundamentally there were no signs of improvement late in the season. He made countless errors on the field that displayed he had no idea what he was doing or the situational awareness. He constantly showed he had a lack of communication with his other coaches especially with AVP with a focal point being the Cardinals game. Despite the lack of talent the players were undisciplined and lacked the fundamentals that a good coaching staff should be establishing. ALL of this and I haven’t even mentioned his WEEKLY foot in mouth comments that constantly undermined himself. And then every single Monday he would have to walk it back. It got to be so repetitive that the national media caught on and joked about it. Saying he was going to sit players for disciplinary reasons and then last minute deciding to start them. It’s just impossible to take someone seriously as a player, coach, fan or press member when you constantly display you have no idea what you’re talking about. He should’ve been fired after the Chargers game let alone the Cardinals game. This team top to bottom was completely dysfunctional and you could tell by the amount of fans or there lack of in the seats on Sundays.*
