First time hearing this brand, and I'm a bit skeptical using this as a main drive for pc build on a long run, but it's much better than the 980 pro which I currently use. Indeed it's Good for gaming drive, personally for storing important data i will stick with the trusted ones.

Great review, impressive product. I also thought Gen 4 was at its limit but this is a notable improvement. I completely agree with your conclusion that this should be top recommend SSD for nearly everyone assuming pricing will be competitive. That being said, I am a little sad my SN850X lost the Gen 4 gaming crown.

What you have to look in a NVMe SSD is 2: speeds (w/r) and thermal performance. There are many nvme ssd with really high speeds but they suffer from heat issues, and loong usage on high temps may cause problems. 75$ for 1Tb version, is not cheap, there are cheaper ones but for the performance it gives it's worth it. Great choice for gamers and editors. For normal users, you won't notice the difference from a cheaper product. Great review brother Han, I really appreciate your hard work and reviews of different type of products in your channel. Day to day life products, IT products, smartphones and so on is a great combo. ❤❤❤
