Thank you so very much for these videos. I love aloe vera and have been trying to grow then for a long time now, but they eventually die of rotting. I'm not sure whether its leaf rot or root rot but I end up throwing it out. Now I know not to do unless I'm sure its root rot. Thank you again. Blessings. Namaste.
I have both types of aloe vera but the Barbadensis ones keep on getting rotten, especially when it’s the rainy season. They also stopped producing pups, after I changed the soil, which is weird. Btw, do you get more sales from Chinensis or Barbadensis type?
Bjr je possède plusieurs aloe vera brevifolia ils poussent et se multiplient très rapidement. Je ne vois pas souvent cette variété de plus ils supportent tous les temps. Pouvez vous m'en parler le gel est il bon pour les soins merci.
Hello I'm a new subscriber i absolutely love aloes..seems like when i ignore them they grow a produce..soon as i start nurturing they accumulate root rot how can i stop my roots from rotting
Long live Professor Danny. Thanks for the video, one question - will it grow roots in time. Approximately how long and if there are factors that can accelerate their growth. thank you.
Usually after three weeks, it will start to grow roots. It is longer than usual. But if you want it faster, cut afresh the trunk after the rotten portion has dried and make sure a fresh node is exposed and in contact with the soil.
My aloevera gel is missing from leaves due to heat i have shifted it to shade because it was grown in shade since it was pup, will the gel come back now in leaves??
If a 1 year old plant produced pups then it must be chinesis right? I watched all the videos still so hard for me to spot the difference.. but I'm guessing It's Chinesiss, I had two plants given to me they we're a few months old pups, and after 1 year and something, they produced pups, 5-6 each.
Update, for my peace of mind, because I have lived an illusion, and felt betrayed by myself, and had very mixed feelings, like I took care of someone elses baby or whatever thinking it was mine 🤣 I went out and got 2 new plants from the local hardware store, LUCKILY THE PLANTS JUST ARRIVED TODAY, cause there we're no Aloes nowhere for months, I live in the northerhem, in a mountain city, we have normal summer, but its rare when they bring it on stock, so now I have both species
No, you can't identify the plant based on how it produces pups. But you made me smile with your story 😅😅 and looking forward to The Aloe vera Garden 2 😅😅😅😅
I just got a small aloe vera plant a week ago. I planted it in a separate container. I looked at the soil today and there are two small seedlings in the pot. Could this be aloe vera? or did something from my other plants jump into the pot? 😂idk. it's my first aloe plant

I don't sell the chinensis variety, I give it to those who would like to have it.
I needed this lesson. Mine turned grey bc I didn't bring it in during mild cold weather

Hello Danny! Please give us a garden tour of your other plants. You have such wonderful plants like rosella! Is it a jamaican rosella?
Yes, it is. I make jams and juices with it and I mix it with Aloe vera.

How should an aloe plant be watered?
The simplest answer to this is water the plant when the soil is dry.
