I hope you have a good harvest next year on your long neck and soft neck garlic.❤ You truly have come a long way with where you started with your garden beds. I remember that video. Thank you
Hope your garlic does well for you. We are zone 7 in northern NJ and planted ours the first week of Nov. We spent most of Oct. prepping the beds with chicken and duck manure, fish scraps and tilled everything in.. We we plant we do furrows and spread bone meal and blood meal at the bottom and then place the garlic cloves in. Once covered we add a good 4 or 5 inches of shredded leaves on top. Been doing this method for about 10 years now and the garlic thrive. We only grow hardneck.
You know a garden is an experiment you never know what will work from yr to yr because it changes every year but I enjoy growing a garden even if it doesn’t do good
I gotta get my garlic in. It's been so warm here, I was afraid it would start to sprout after I planted it. But feeling good about doing it now. I'm in Northern lower, MI!
Lol, I have almost the same garlic seed and I got it from saw true seeds as well! Last year it was so much rain and we had heat and cold and heat by january the greens from most of the garlic was 2 feet tall almost! So annoying, it didn' t have big heads so I couldn't save any! I don't want to buy too muchanymore because it is getting to be expensive! Hopefully it will do good this coming year! Blessings!
Thanks for sharing your progress & teaching along the way! You’re both doing wonderful things to your property! Blessings 🤗🇨🇦🌻
The difference between your soil now compared to your first videos is amazing! Well done 👏👏👏
Good luck with your garlic, the difference in the garden over the years is massive and the house is looking beautiful. ❤

I love ALL Calico Cow Acres videos!
I think your way of keeping track of what you’ve planted is smart. I’m going to try that method.😊
Great to see young people take care of there land we plant and eat. Enjoyed your videos. Love from Virginia ♥️

I enjoyed this garlic tutorial very much. It's reassuring hearing you explain as you plant. And the music you chose for the video was awesome!
