Thank you for sharing. I climbed this about 10 years ago and had it to myself on a bright summer's day. It's a mountain well worth the climb.

I grew up in Carmel Carnarvon. We used to climb Mynudd Mawr very often, taking sandwiches with us as kids x

Many thanks for your kind words Robin, hope you get good visibility on the day as the views can be stunning on a clear day, it was a bit hazy on our day but still a good walk, all the very best Robin from Epic Walks Wales.

Many thanks again Andy for your kind words, we really appreciate it, we always check the weather forecast before leaving Andy and since we are both retired we can go at the drop of a hat, we find that a long journey to North Wales & a hard 10 mile walk up a mountain during bad weather only produced poor videos with no mountain scenery to show & a waste of time & fuel money, simply because we would only return to do that walk again in better weather only to have a decent video, however we do local 5 mile walks in South Wales even in bad weather without a camera to keep the fitness up, I guess we have become fine weather walkers just for the sake of the videos, take care Andy from Epic Walks Wales.

I appreciate your videos as one who has recently started hiking the local mountains. I've noticed though from your list of videos that you haven't attempted the Rhinogydd range yet. You have the northern Rhinogs which include Craig Y Gwynt, Moel Y Gyrafolen, Moel Ysgyfarnogod, Foel Penolau, and Craig Ddrwg. And then you have the southern Rhinogs, Craig Wion, Rhinog Fawr, Rhinog Fach, Y Llethr, Diffwys, Diffwys West Top, Crib Y Rhiw, Y Garn and Moelfre. They stretch all the way from Trawsfynydd to Barmouth. Apparently the Snowdon range, the Carneddau and Glyder range all fit into the Rhinogydd, although the Rhinog range isnt as high, Y Llethr being the highest at 756 meters. Anyway, nice enjoyable videos.

Thank you Myrddin for your kind comments and information, I'm sure we will get round to walking the Rhinogydd range in the near future, many thanks from Epic Walks Wales.

I was on Y Garn 2 days ago (Nantle ridge Y Garn) and I must have looked at Mynydd Mawr without knowing that it is MM 😅 it was my other choice for hiking this day. Y Garn already had beautiful scenery. MM must have similar view. Is it easy /dangerous in parts? I turned around at the bottom of the rocky section on the Nantle ridge. Didn't want to exaggerate with my first real mountain hike after 2 years 😉

Mynydd Mawr is not dangerous Carl just a bit steep, check weather for good visibility before you go, take care from Epic Walks Wales.

@@mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974 thank you, I was there yesterday. Stunning views. Enjoyed it so much. Would love to do the Moel Eilio ridge that's opposite Mynydd Mawr.
