Not related to this comment, but my favorite monster in the series (at least until something comes to replace it) is Shagaru Magala.

Well there kinda is an indication of the monsters' health. When they're close to death, they start sweating profusely. Also there's like a blue symbol at the bottom of their icon at the top of the screen.
It’s still pretty annoying at most times. Granted a lot of the monsters in rise are extremely easy to get through. Monster Hunter world had a better indication with the heart rate system, showing when it spikes from agitation and when it’s close to flatlining.
People carried me through World when it first came out. Got Iceborne a bit later after its release and sucked at it because I never learned to really solo monsters! I feel like Generations Ultimate helped me a bit with that. That is one lesson I need to get good at, soloing.

Every monster in world takes me 15 to 20 minutes not counting the raid boss and devil Jho because of his health pool if you want to fight devil jho and make it easy make it a multi hunt his HP gets cut in half and the other monsters like kulu-yaku. I regret fighting temper devil Jho his hp pool became massive took me 50 minute to beat.
I hope people dont see max0rs video and think the Rise PC port is bad. Its quite good. And Rise itself has become my 2nd favourite Monster Hunter game especially with the release of the Sunbreak expansion.

I gotta say that I liked Rise a bit more than world. Loved both games but there was something about the animation style and asian inspired monsters that really pulled me in. Also the fact that I was able to play through the full game with my friend, whereas World made that impossible/very annoying

Monster hunter freedom unite was the first one i played and it was a torture simulator for a masochist like me with those small hitboxes,i loved it😭 Also play *God Eater* , its a anime styled monster hunter with faster gameplay and you can *LOCK ON* the fqin monsters,its soooo good

I play games to be railroaded along a path the developer has a laid out for me but too much and I feel like I'm being dragged along a really boring wall hense why I prefer RPGS, the story gives me a clear goal but the freedom to grind and side quest whenever I want I want invisible freedom not obvious freedom, I could never get into most sandbox type games because the sky's the limit and I have no imagination, I prefer Code Vien over Dark souls, God Eater over Monster Hunter, Xenoblade over Breath of the Wild, I'll replay a level in DOOM Eternal 20 times before I even touch Last of Us or God of War Ragnarok Give me DMCV not walking simulator Sony edition

I have been having a blast with it too on the PC port, just as much as world! Honestly, I think the universe of the new world and the more traditional setting of rise with the revamped combat makes each entry so distinct that they are completely different experiences.
