That was another awesome find there. So many old gravestones. Can you please slow done just a bit so we can actually read what's written? I love seeing the uniqueness in them. Thank you 😊
For being so far off the road looks like someone is caring for the cemetery as the grass seems to be cut. It is nice they have honored the soldiers. A lot of those stones seem to be in good shape considering the few I could read dates on seemed very old. Great find. Please wear something bright during hunting season. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
A very peaceful place. I imagine all the family and friends that have walked the long beautiful road to lay a loved one to rest. A Beautiful place. 🦋🧡🐝
Thanks Matt for another awesome video about the graveyard down an abandoned road and bridge was a very long hike to get to that graveyard it some video and thanks for sharing it and i can't wait to see your next video and God Bless you my friend.
Such a remote location...and so many nice shape headstones with legible dates! A lot of those Woodsman of America tombstones seem to be mainly old dates and many times for younger death ages...(maybe the sign of the times when you did not often live to be old.) What great fall scenery too!
Hey Matt! Was just thinking we haven’t had a video from you in a while. Thought you were lost glad to hear from you. Great little find and I love the hair great for fall.
20:07 I wish you had shown those twisted trees to your right. It appeared as though one of them was wrapped around another, would have loved to see that!
You may want to wear blaze orange when you’re out there. I used a trail ride my horse and have had bullets whIzzing around me. Are you allowed to read to us on some of the tombstones? Especially the old ones and the ones with interesting sayings.
It was walnuts, love them! The smell of them is intoxicating. Loved the crunching of the leaves and the wind blowing threw the trees, loved this, thanks!
What an awesome find! . It’s sad to see such decay and even though the grass is mowed that no one cares enough to preserve the headstones. Thanks for an awesome video!
Hello Matt!! Good to see you again. Great find !!! I'm happy to see the veterans remembered. The wind blowing tells me it's fixing to be getting cold where I am. I always find your video's very interesting ,cool old bridge.Stay safe and God bless you always.
I haven't commented for awhile, but I really enjoyed this! Ohio has a lot of history to it. Again, I've mentioned before check out Old Fort cemetery if you go that way a lot of old historical tombstones also Liberty cemetery has many as well. Great video Matt!
looks like this was a very old road alignment, from google earth you can see where it potentially came to a T. A lot of these old roads were established on old cart tracks.
Hi Matt, a cool find with some fairly old stones back there. Was there any markings on the bridge to say what date it was built because they usually do put them on. Thanks for sharing another awesome explore. x
Great video! Not only was this a fascinating exploration through history but also an awesome nature walk. You might consider wearing a neon orange or yellow color while trekking through woods during hunting season ... strictly for safety reasons.
Nice find this cemetery hidden in the woods.Looks like it is maintained regularly.Love to be in the woods this time of year, the trees are beautiful with the fall colors.Area is great to go for a hike, enjoy the nature, tranquility.Would like to see more of the markers in the cemetery. The WOW ones (simmons / lingle ) are different in style than the more known style of marker ( treetrunk).Your hair looks nice , love the color ( thought is was black but it is actually blue ).Great explore Matt, love this roadtrip.Lots to see while driving through less inhabited parts of the country.Take care while travelling.Looking forward for the next episodes.
I love the casual approach, strolling round the cemetery. Im going to subscribe and tick the bell ☺☺ I saw you talking about a car stalking you. Be careful, especially at night. One of my Fb friends who does paranormal, cemeteries and abandoned property has had problems lately with people turning up and stalking. Take care. 🌹🌿🌹
What a gorgeous old cemetery! That perfect fall day added a nice aesthetic, too. I love your videos, Matt. Also, I like to see your different hair colors! :)
I agree with the blaze orange comment. You are out in the country after all, and anything moving through the woods where there are no homes is fair game. Aside from that, loved that this place was obviously so well taken care of. A question for you though, when you find those graves back in the forest, seemingly beyond the cemetery/graveyard boundaries, do you try to find some point of contact to let them know?
Cool old cemetery. You always do go that extra mile to find them and that makes you one of the best on here.I love exploring old cemeteries too. That one might be haunted so i would also do a investigation there during the day.Not sure if i would want to come there at night because it does look like locals come out there to party.Great video.
There is a photo of the Gould Mausoleum before it was bricked up on Find a Grave. According to the poster, they took the photo of the daughters crypt via a door that they or someone else pried open. Photos can be found under Frank J Gould.
I doubt anyone come to see about most of those graves as we are on like the 4th generation and kids these days are not interested in visiting graveyard and dead relatives. Most are not. Cremation for my family we keep the ashes right at home with us forever and easy to pass down and to store or set on a mantle or something.
I’m wondering a few things. Who is mowing the grass? The veterans memorial and James Correll marker doesn’t look very old at all. And what’s the last grave to be interred or when would it have still been considered an active graveyard?
I agree. I caught one that said died 1820? Although it is neat when you find a lost one in the weeds, I mostly look forward to seeing those that are visible.
I agree. I think I caught one that said died 1820? Although it is neat when you find one lost in the weeds, I really enjoy more seeing and reading the ones that are visible.
Hi Matt, I enjoyed your trip to this cemetery. It appeared overcast but that might be my screen? The plaque of military names was a plus. I certainly would be tempted by those old pop bottles. I turned them in for change as a boy and now their collectibles. Finally I want to visit Ohio and in part I did. Thanks.
This cemetery is haunted, I live in northwest Ohio, not too far from this area. Also if you want another great place to visit in northwest Ohio hit me up for more info, would make a great adventure for you.
I'm amazed that the place is in quite a good condition considering how far out into the woods it's located. It's very peaceful there...would love to have a final resting place away from civilization. The cooler weather has to be a blessing for your hiking adventures. Thanks Matt for all you do for us...these videos are a blessing, they give us a refreshing break from the monotony in life. Be safe my friend. ❤😊

There's danger that lurks in those deserted areas, never know what mutants with weoponry that may be traipsing around looking for unsuspecting hikers. Remember what happened in that old movie 'Deliverance'... Squeal like a pig.. 🐷🐖🐽😁

So glad this Cemetery, is being taken care of so well, it's very pretty...Great video!
Those nuts are black walnuts. My hometown is host to the WV Black Walnut Festival. It was last weekend.

It would add interest to the walk around the cemetery if you would pause and read out the names and dates here and there. Thanks!
Julie Mofle ~ Thank you! I felt the same way. He’ll pause to show a regular tree from top to bottom, but rush past beautiful headstones.

The wind sound in the trees is scary at times you need someone with you are a dog.

interesting cemetery tour even though its old, it is looked after from across the pond in UK

Cool place. It would be nice if you would focus in on the headstones and monuments so we can read the names and dates.
So interesting some over 300 years old people according to birthdates.. God rest their souls.
Awesome video Mr. 5 hundred 39!! It's so amazing how you find these hidden and forgotten cemeteries, thanks for the video!
Wow great remoted place and well kept cemetery!!!
You can put a walking app on your phone and it will tell you how far you walked.
Those round green and black are black walnuts.
I used to live near there, it was always said to be haunted.
Wow when that was an active cemetery, the pallbearers had quite a hike. The dancing Ghana pallbearers would have had to charge by the mile.
at that time the road he walked on to get there wouldve been open to vehicular traffic
Have you ever had any paranormal encounters?
Hi there Matt, how are you doing? Fine I hope. You sure make great videos, I love watching them, and you dude
Thanks, Rebecca! Doing Well!
Cool!,
Looks like somebody keeps it mowed
I was just thinking about that..someone goes out there and keeps it beautiful
