- It’s been a while since I made a video about my trousers (pants) and my last video is definitely outdated. I don’t think I wear any of the trousers from that video, so an update is very much needed. I have 6 pairs of trousers I want to show you in this video. I do own more than 6 pairs of trousers and denim, however, these are the pairs I go back to time and time again. To be honest, these are the only pairs I’m really wearing these days, and I’m in no rush to add anymore to my rotation.
I’m 6 foot, about 73 - 74 kg - I am finally putting on a bit more weight from hitting the weights and I have a 30 inch waist.

What’s the best pair of trousers/pants/denim you’ve ever had?
I've had a pair of Cherokee boot cut jeans but they've recently got a hole in the butt area and now I'm really sad... I've been wearing them each week at least 2 times and I've tried looking for them online but cant find any. I'm just hoping to find some boot cut/flared jeans I can replace. But I recently bought a Levi's 501 and Zara jeans and have been liking those. But it's so saddd😭😭😭😭

A pair of cargos from uniqlo, I hate wearing fanny packs/sling bags so having multiple pockets on my pants help. I usually dump my keys and wallet inside the pocket.
I always found the dickies 874 original fit to be my go to pants, yes they're aren't the most expensive and luxurious but they are durable, you can work in them, dress them up or down, affordable and I like the baggy loose fit.

As someone who loves casual streetwear and more chilled out formal fashion, a quick tip: if you want to wear thinner pants/trousers you would wear in the summer in the winter just buy some good quality long johns. Honestly the best thing if you spend time outside commuting working or socializing in the colder months. Your legs let out a lot of your body heat!
On a first skim of this comment, I somehow managed to read it as you suggesting that people wear long johns as an alternative to thin trousers in the summer. That would be a look.
Great selection here mate! Even the colour tones you’ve chosen for each outfit is pretty much on par with mine, so this is video is definitely a great inspiration for me.
I definitely need to get my hands on some Issey Miyake pleats, i've been wanting them for so long! I also recommend Olive Clothing when it comes to trousers, I LIVE in my ivory balloon leg ones! Great vid as per Harry!
Thanks a lot man. You definitely do. They are so so comfortable. I like Olive clothing and used to pop into their store in Cheltenham back in the day. I did find a Reddit thread that said some stuff about where they sourced their products and it put me off a bit. Not sure how true it is but their stuff does look great

I really like the fit of those cropped denim pants. The crop is definitely at the ideal spot. Sadly I feel like those Arket pants would be too short on me as I'm 6'3". 😢 Have any other brand recommendations who sell a similar fit/style of denim?
Thanks mate. Arket have other longer denim and so do COS. Other than that, Acne Studios offer a good variety but they are more expensive

Those jeans are very nice, I have no idea of Arket's quality, is it good? I usually wear denim from Acne Studios. I think you would look amazing in a more relaxed pair of jeans, the Acne 2003 model is really nice. Anyways, great video!

I'm 188cm tall and usually about a 32 in waist. The issey miyake pants only have sizes 1 and 2 available. Do you think the 2 would work for me? Is there room for a tailor to easily lengthen the hem?

I think the 2 might be ok but might be more cropped. They have exact measurements on the linked site in the description. You could always measure some trousers you like that you already own and compare. They can’t be tailored so no

same dude. i have big a$$ and waist so the rise, the length and and open leg are bigger than my actual sizing. so i look like wearing up sized fit lol not the baggy one

Yes, I get what you mean. It depends how much you like them. I’ve read Issey Miyake uses recycled materials to create his own fabrics so hopefully that is the case with these. I wouldn’t normally buy polyester anything but I plan to keep these for a very long time and If they are made from recycled materials then it’s not so bad

I have relatively big quads and have trouble finding a good pair of trousers that actually fit my quads
The isseys will fit you well. Only problem is, they are expensive
Any recommendations for Jeans that have some sort of elastic bands at the ankle so the Jeans dont go over the Sneakers and fit better?

Personally id advise just getting a cropped pair of jeans tbh. They havs a better silhouette than jean joggers imo

Thanks mate. There are a few brands who do them. Cold Laundry did but not sure if they still do and Second Skin do some similar. The thing is, the cuts aren’t the same as mine and not sure how good they will be. Google alternatives too and I’m sure loss will come up
zara have these type of trousers.I recently purchased but the only downside is the fit is not as good as isse miyake.

Hmmm. I’m not sure about the issy trousers. The proportions look off - you look like you’re pear shaped (ie heavy around the mid section and thighs). I have the same problem with a similar pair of pants. Also the cropped length isn’t timeless - you’ll look back and think why did I wear trousers that were too short for me….:I can see the video upload in a few years

Thanks. That’s kinda the point. I show what I’m doing with my wardrobe and try and show that you don’t need to buy more and more clothes. I like a small wardrobe full of pieces I can use again and again. That’s kind of the whole thing I teach on the channel. Make the most out of what you have. That being said, there are still two new pairs of trousers in this video
