We may have to brace ourselves for a trade packaging Brock off for a a top end winger or 2. It'll be sad to see him go unless he can be convinced that a modest raise and a chance to be the top winger on the team is good enough. Doubtful money usually wins especially when other GMs might start throwing around 9 M x 7 yrs who knows with free agency it always gets nutso

Talking about locking up this team and keeping most of the guys here, preventing a rotating lineup situation is really huge. It's a big deal to have as few new guys and new pieces coming in with the need to learn the systems, learn the players personalities ect ect. Change isn't always good ! The dumb point that really bugs me is can we just pump the brakes on Silovs hes not the second coming of Ken Dryden he's not even close. Not the same region of the Milky Way ! I saw huge gaps in his game and I know I'm not alone when I say he makes me kinda nervous facing shots from the point. Boy does he need work. But thats what we have the "goalie whisperer" for right ??
