- I’m back again and about time too because this is my second Kirby mashup since my Marx mashup from last year. If you thought my Marx mashup was epic and crazy, you ain’t seen nothing yet. This latest one is you guessed it, another final boss related mashup and this one is the final boss of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards if you collect all the Crystal Shards, Zero Two. Also the lyric lineup is not mine this time, it’s actually made by my friend CorvidaeCurbade just like how he made the lyric lineup for my Shiny RoboBowser mashup. Anyways, I added some sound effects in the cutscenes which they should’ve got in the first place, added voice clips for Kirby, King Dedede and here’s an unexpected surprise for you, Ribbon. I also decided to add something that Kirby 64 has never done before, add a cutscene between after the final level and before fighting Zero one last time. This is great because it justifies why Zero would want to fight Kirby for the last time at the end of the Dark Matter trilogy. Will Kirby win or will Zero prevail? Well find out yourself, see?

I love how basic ribbon's lines are so basic and zero's lines are more complex for a major contrast. Especially since ribbon is supposedly young while zero is eons old
When you look at it, and remove Kirby, Zero is a metaphor of depression. Endless darkness, endless night, a world anathema to light. He is trapped, feeling only misery, it is the only thing he can feel. He knows his fate, to be destroyed. he knows his end is near. But he welcomes it. He destroys, because he knows he has no choice. As someone who suffered through extreme anxiety and suicidal thoughts, I resonate with him.

Funfact: The boss's name isn't Zero Two, it's actually Zero Squared. The tiny 2 indicates a number times itself, which is actually fairly deep for just being a name. Because zero squared... is still null. The nothingness grew, and yet it's still just that. Nothing.

You could also say the boss' name is Oxygen.

That was beautiful. I never realized how majestic Zero Two’s theme really was, and the lyrics make it even better.
That kinda makes zero 2 even more terrifying, zero 2 is theorists to be an angle or a god, the majestic music makes it feel more creepy when you think about it and we officially know it's a reincarnation of a god

Yes, Zero is Zero. The realization of the century.
Well Zero is a hero. To him, everyone only feels sorrow, pain, and hatred. So if everything is Zero², then no one will suffer. No free will means no one will get hurt. So that is what Zero² wants to happen. He knows he will fall, but he will come back. For as long as there is negativity, there will be Dark Matter.

Zero & Zero Two would start a trend of future Kirby games having nightmare fuel bosses & I love it.
I like how it almost sounds like zero 2 and ribbon is arguing at some points, since they keep cuting eachother off

After rewatching this I realized this is the peak of DED6 Mashups imo

You made all my trauma about Dark Matter, Zero, Zero Two and my Ex-Girlfriend making aquarella drawings of it, while she seemed to be as depressed and dark as someone possessed by Dark Matter would be, come back to me like a tsunami obvliderating a beach...
When I remember that, I go and destroy Zero Two, to feel that I am who releases her from that darkness and depression as a true hero... a thing I really couldn't do and I still carry that cross of guilt.

Zero Two sounds like Dark Bowser! And Ribbon sounding like Palutena!
If your answer was Palutena, you’re correct! I know this because that’s her voice clips but three pitches higher to sound more like a cute little fairy. Also funny moments mostly come from the voice clips of Kirby Right Back at Ya. Also sound effects used for the cutscenes and a cutscene between after the final level and before facing Zero Two where we get to see Zero’s eye vowing revenge on Kirby as he will pay for killing all the Dark Matter created by Zero now revived as Zero Two.

The sounds before Zero Two explodes are not his, they are from Gyiyg (Giygas for English) as heard in Mother 2 when Gyiyg is unstable and showing static.

As for Zero Two or rather Zero as a whole in the cutscene I’ve made that takes place between after the last level and the final fight itself, he’s voiced by Nighriel Daray and as for Ribbon, it’s taking Palutena’s voice clips from Super Smash Bros Ultimate and alter them three pitches higher for a cute girl voice. I got that idea from this video called “Cupcakes (SFM) but with voices V2” and I thought it worked well for her.

I was not expecting this so soon but Im happy I came and this music is one of the best ever made I may have preferred miracle matter over zero two but his theme is better than the bland final bosses in the series I wonder if there is going to be more lyrics for Kirby?

@@chadpeterson5698 yes he's the leader of the dark matter, but Alex, ( I believe he's called) did a Divine voice like an angel, and since he supposed to be like a fallen angel, I think it made more sense, and was more fitting. Great mashup still.
I will be surprise if someone manages to combo the 2 things perfectly, a voice that sounds divine at first glance yet is demonic
