First, let the school decide on your 3rd Class; apply if you can afford all the application fees. Number 2, as a single mom of a wonderful kid, please, in every form from the start, say you are SINGLE and have a kid. here, it's not a shame. So the system will register that she has a wonderful child. But when coming in, I will advise (please, you are free to decide) that you get more info on whether you should apply with your kid. But I know that it is better for you to come first and get your resident permit, then you already have a room that a kid can stay with you cos not all shared apartments allow that. Then you will already find out what school he will attend because if your child is younger than 6 or 5, I am not sure he will go to Kindergarten, and you need to find a suitable one. So I would suggest you settle in first and bring your baby/child (younger than 18 years old) after a few months. Thanks for watching my video. The New Video is dropping today!

Please I want to apply for a master programme but the course is taught entirely in Portuguese, do they accept non - Portuguese speaking individuals to study these courses? And also how difficult or easy is it for an entirely non- Portuguese speaking person to study these courses?
Yes, they will probably give you an admission (that depends on them). But first I will advise you to look at Unis that teach in English. Check ISCTE or NOVA University of Lisbon, University of Minho, etc
Weldone sister, i just came across your channel and have subscribe. My question is: if they say tuition is 1500 and 10 installment. Does it mean that tuition deposit is going to be 150 euro?.
Some schools might ask you to pay for the full year and some will divide it in installments... They will make the calculations of first deposits themselves. So in math-ing this; if its 10 installments, the first payment is 150 and they will give you the date of payment. if you miss the deadline, your school registration might be deactivated . I will explain this in the next video
Yes, please do the authentication in Nigeria first, the one from Min of Education that goes to NUC, then the one from Min of Foreign Affairs, and then you take it to the Portuguese embassy for authentication. This last part can take a while. The reason I said "Yes" to your question is I have seen some schools in Portugal who won't give admission letters without this.

Good day sis. I found your video educative enough. My first question goes thus: I am planning my wife come to Portugal for Masters program. Can she relocate with me and our 1 yr old son as a dependent? Meaning she studies while I do the hurstling to fend for the family. 2. Is the education for the kids free or atleast cheap for a new comer?
Yes, if you have your money to sustain them and their visa is approved, you are good to go. But remember, family means a bigger accommodation. In Lisbon, that could start from around 800 or more! and to rent a house, they have requirements for a tax refund from the previous year, which you don't have yet. And if you say you want to rent a room in an apartment, you can most times only fit 2 people at a time in these rooms and the landlord will charge more for 2 people than a single person because logically you use more water. I will explain more in the next video. Please watch out
Yes, as a PhD student, you will get issued a permit that has both work and school on it. Its perfect. Yes, you have to pay your tuition, which can be done in installments of 10, depending on your school. But I have seen people in STEM with funding! Thanks for watching. Please share my video. Beijinhos!
Oh, very good question. There are English-speaking jobs. Big companies like Accenture, Teleperformance, Concentrix, Ottonome, Webflow recruit. There are also American companies. But it is important to learn Portuguese. It is a sign of respect for the country you are in.
Ofcos NECO is our national exam, but I think you should be more worried about learning in Portuguese. So is your Portuguese great? or is, you find an English-taught program. When on Google and on the school website, don't use Google Translate every time so you won't think the course is in English and it is otherwise. Also try to look for the language of the course; some school websites say it. Good luck. Cheering you on!!!! Also, if you are in the sciences, choose a STEM course!
Look at it this way: as a nurse, you will need to speak to everyone on sensitive issues. Imagine communicating wrongly on a sensitive matter or not understanding them correctly. EU is serious on medical laws! So I will say learn Portuguese very well before applying, because medical or nursing is already hard, or England is another option. Good luck love!
Thanks for your video. Very informative. I want to relocate to portugal i am torn between a masters programme and vocational study of one year. I finished my degree in 2010, I really dont know if ican cope with masters. What are your thoughts on this? And please do you know any 2 year vocational programmes in Portugal?
Masters is hard. I will say vocational because blue collar guys also earn even more per hour sometimes, but please ask if the permit they give is long enough and you can work with it. If you do a masters on the other end after 2 years, its over, and you keep it for life. Then, when you learn Portuguese, I am sure you can do the vocational training of your choice and have two viable careers. Do your research and choose, but be very sure that you are in a program with a permit that allows you to work
@japanationcommunity Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. The vocational course is in English but it's for just a year so they give a one year visa and no temporary residence permit. I am just torn because I prefer to do the vocational course instead of masters but I would also love to work while schooling.
My question sis! Can my wife get Bsc degree in portugal with her NECO and NCE certificate? Then can i be her dependant? Then can we get PR . Alternatively, can i get PR after completion, if i come in through PhD?? My concern is PR. Thank You

Hey this one go hard me o …. Most people don’t start with a job of their dreams or previous career. You have to set your mind on surviving first. And most accountants I know are Portuguese. For instance, Deloitte dey Portugal… and demma client go be Portuguese firms yea? So imagine being an auditor who doesn’t speak or understand Portuguese perfectly… you can also work solo… but entering government offices to help people sort out taxes and their accounts you’ll need to speak Portuguese well well.
