FYI - Jamaica has been renowned as a top tourist destination for many decades. Jamaica has received several awards based on its authentic and unique tourism offerings. Last year, the island was named 'Caribbean's Best Culinary Destination' at the World Culinary Awards. In the same year, Jamaica won 33 World Travel Awards, chief among them was being named the 'Caribbean's Leading Destination.
In 2023 4million visitors came to Jamaica and more are expected this year. Jamaica isn’t just about ‘garrisons’ or resorts! The majority of Jamaicans live in beautiful homes and neighbourhoods all around the island. Jamaica doesn’t need to be sold to anyone because most people already know what it has to offer, and as I said, it’s not about ‘garrisons’ or resorts - there is the other 85% of the beautiful island with beautiful rivers, waterfalls and numerous other things that it has to offer, and with beautiful homes and neighbourhoods all around the island! TH-camrs think it’s about only the 1% that they all focus on, while overlooking the true Jamaica. They can be offensive to Jamaicans when they make such comments like ‘Did you know Jamaica was like this’? What were they expecting?

So happy to see you made it to Negril. I stayed at Travelers resort last year for a few days. It’s a beautiful Jamaican family owned resort. I highly recommend people go there and support. It’s clean, recently renovated, food was great, friendly staff and it’s right on the beautiful, pristine seven mile beach. One of the top beaches in the world. Such a chill vibe, you can’t go wrong. Hope you could stay there longer to really relax and enjoy all of what Negril has to offer. Completely opposite to city life in Kingston. Keep up the good work and blessings to you Blackman Da Traveler. Love from Canada.

I especially like this vlog as you convey an affordable and comfortable way to teaverse the island.
I have been to all parishes, but yet to visit Negril....may be one day soon 😮
I appreciate the chap you interviewed said Negril was 'paradise' however, I would encourage everyone to visit Kingston, especially Downtown I am a Certified tour guide, operating in Kingston and can honestly say travellers are beyond amazed when they visit the capital city.
Kingston is the cultural mecca of Jamaica and the only place you experience 'authentic Jamaica' (I trust you agree)
There are many places to explore and enjoy in Kingston and lots of hidden gems. Our world famous Blue Mountains is like no other and a must for visitors.
Enjoy the remainder of your time in Jamaica and its hospitable people.

The knutsford is a very efficient way to travel in Jamaica, it's just hectic when you're leaving all the way from the East side to the west of the country.....the next time you're in Jamaica we'll hang out fam, I'll show you some more low key and interesting parts, that doesn't normally gets captured, on me 🇯🇲💯....Thanks for highlighting our country bro, the travel bans on Jamaica are all cap....and we don't understand it either as locals....Go by Rick's Cafe and watch the sunset if you can.

What’s great about Jamaicans is everyone is treated with respect regardless of color nationality race or weight as long as they are treated with respect! You got to visit Ohio Rios and Dunns River Falls in St Ann. The lady has a good voice!

Well Jamaica advertises pretty well in USA. I think citizens of USA are their top visitors. Negril ocho and Montego get plenty of tourists. Kingston another story which should change.

You could a catch a route bus from downtown Kingston to sav for 1150 jmd and a taxi from sav to negril for 300 jdm would have been way cheaper
