“My boyfriend does severely abusive things like ripping apart my important documents, stranding me in another country with no way home after claiming that im irresponsible and I don’t deserve anything because I lost 1 item.
    How do I apologize?”
If anyone ever needed to wake up its that woman right there. Thats the kind of woman that would sing praises to a man that physically assaults her. She needs to be saved from that demon

Ripping a passport is a federal crime. She needs to go to the embassy and get a passport. She should also call the Feds so they can pick him up at the airport. I recommend you press charges and get a restraining order. Clearly he will turn this relationship abusive if he did this. Never speak to him again. I’d you are unable to get a passport speak to the Spanish and English government and get this sorted out. Take photos for evidence.

Children inherently owe their parents nothing. Respectable parents however will receive the world from their children. I don’t think the first dad fits that category

I'm sorry passport lady, your "boyfriend" is textbook abusive relationship partner - "He's sweet but can get angry when things don't go his way" RIPS YOUR WAY TO GET HOME?! I sincerely hope he doesn't raise a hand on you when he gets his baby fits but one thing's for sure: you need to get home and get rid of this guy for good, together with going to personal therapy so you can figure out how awful this relationship was.

I saw on a few travel shows that you should take pictures or videos of all your travel documents and also send copies to your emails. In case something happens to the documents. Also take a photo or video of the documents near your face so whomever can see that they are your documents especially if the document has your photo ID on it.

The last post is something to worry about. Energy drinks can cause a heart attack oflr even a stroke if you keep drinking it. Once in awhile is OK but the way the OP is doing it is not healthy at all. He or she should just go to see a doctor to get a ECG done just to make sure there is nothing wrong with your heart.

Why would a step sibling have any right to the inheritance of someone they are not related to? Clearly the grandparents set it up so the money goes to THEIR relatives, not through their child to the stepkid, so if you are to accept an inheritance, you have to honour it. Step gets zilch.
As to WHY the grandparents would do that? One child is THEIR grandkid, the other is the child of their kid's new partner. If they don't have or feel a connection to that kid, why would they leave them anything? I mean at that point it's like Yeah. I do like my neighbours but I'm not including them in my will.

Travel guide here, u can always get home to ur country of origin - it's literally illegal by international law to keep u away. No one is getting stranded in a foreign country (unless they want to which fair). Always have a pdf with pics of all ur IDs on ur email and contact the embassy and flight company, if something happens to the physical copies. Some companies will even let u fly on a driver's license in case of a documented emergency. It sucks and it'll probably cost u an extra $200, but no need to worry about not getting home.

It would be different if it was their adopted daughter, but this is just the kid of someone who married their kid after the grandkid was already around. If the grandparentrs have no connection to that kid, it's fine. If they have one and still believe that only blood relations matter, that is also fine. OP should keep everything.

    • @smithsmith1956
      @smithsmith1956 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't think step "family" should get anything. Inheritance should go to biological family. There are women out there that purposely look for widowers to marry, take the inheritance from his biological family, and gives it to HER biological family. It's fuqed up. Personally, I'd leave some cash. But I'm not leaving a house or any family heirlooms.

I got a question if anyone wants to advice..
Growing up I'm the youngest of 6 boys 1 full brother and 4 step brothers. My 3 oldest brothers were fully grown and out by the time I and my blood brother came along (my dad's 3 sons) and my mom had her oldest son my middle brother.
My brother pat who's my blood brother has ADHD (as do I but didn't know until I was 21) so my mom was basically all in on his and neglected me and my middle brother Joe which resulted in some problems for my brother Joe and he ended up moving in with his dad and hasn't spoken to my mom since (this all happened in the early 90s yeah)
Well after that my mom became abusive to me specifically physically and mentally because she couldn't punish my brother pat.
Growing up really sucked and I tried to forever sleep myself a few times with razors and drugs it's important to mention my mom was cheating on my dad basically from the time I was born and left him multiple times but he kept letting her back until she finally filed for divorce and told him he'd never see us kids again.
My dad fought like hell and won visitation rights on the condition he buy her a new car every 2 years and pay around 500 dollars a month per kid for child support.
Flash forward I'm 13 and had already tried to end myself 4 or 5 times and thankfully was unsuccessful. My best friend knew what was going on and the police never believed me when I would call even with multiple broken bones thought out my life because of her abuse.
So my best friend and I decided to get in trouble so I could go to jail to escape her(we were kids and it sounded like a great idea at the time)
I vandalized a car and broke in to some houses didn't steal anything but literally left notes it was me the police didn't arrest me all I had to do was pay a fine, community service and fix the man's car (it was a junk in his back yard not his daily)
My mom after the police left broke my jaw with a right hook and knocked 3 teeth out and when my dad found out I was in the hospital again him and her talked and he very gently but firmly said if i was too much for her he could take me to live with him since she knew in a few months when I turned 14 I was planning on doing that anyway.
(Laws at least at the time said at 14 a child could pick which parent they wanted to live with) she agreed mainly because it would be less money she had to spend on me for food and clothes (funny I never got new clothes unless my dad bought them)
My dad showed up a week later to grab all my stuff and he walked in my room to see an air mattress on the floor and and a small bag with my cloths.
He asked her where all my stuff was thinking she'd put it in storage or something and was completely shocked to find out thats all I had.. he didn't wanna start a fight he just grabbed my bag and took me (wasn't a big deal he already had a bed and stuff for me from times I'd visit)
We get home and he opens my bag to find none of the new clothes he'd bought just my old cloths and hand me downs.
He asked and I tried to explain she took all of my new cloths and gave them to my brother pat because he deserved them (even though my dad also bought him new cloths) this was difficult because my jaw was still wired shut from her breaking it.
A few months go by and my dad's new girlfriend meets me for the first time she was soo cool and treated me just like one of her own kids I truly loved her so much because it was the first time anyone besides my dad showed they cares about me.
By court order I had to visit my mom at least a few times a year so one day he takes me up to her house and visit and pick my brother pat up. I got a new pager his girlfriend had got me so my dad or her could reach me when I was out of the house and I had it on me my mom seen it and asked and without thinking I said my dad's girlfriend had bought it for me.... this was a Friday night my dad picked me up Saturday morning from the hospital and though I was too scared to say what happened my dad told my mom if she ever came near me again he'd bury her in the woods and no one would find the body.
She broke 4 ribs, rebroke my jaw, bruised my kidney and removed a few more teeth.. she beat me until I told her the girlfriends name and where she lived my mom went down Friday night confronted my dad's girlfriend and promised she'd have her kids taken away if she ever saw my dad again... she never did.
I was taken to the hospital after her new husband (who seen all this and did nothing) seen I was having problems breathing and before we went in my mother told me if I said a word she'd have my dad arrested for child molestation.. I was a kid and scared so I didn't.
Flash forward years later my wife who didn't know any of this contacted my mom to mend bridges I hadn't spoken to or seen her in 8 years and within one visit she was back to her old ways smacking me across the face... I wasn't a kid and am much bigger now so when I towered over her and said we were leaving to move she did so knowing in that moment I could've of hurt her.
Well my dad passed in 2019 my brother pat let owner she witch know and this women went out of her way to contact me after my brother gave her my number and told me everyone dies and he probably went to hell anyway.
Now a few months ago my sister (my aunt) and my grand mother passed within a few months and she had the nerve to call me to grieve with her.. again my idiot brother gave her my landline number this time.
I told her to f off grieve alone like she let me do when my dad passed and she said (I'm your mother you need to be here for me it's what the Bible says)
I told her (which I do feel bad for saying) I'm surprised you don't burst in to flames every time you walk in to church. She said (you can't talk like that you'll burn in hell) I said good because if i have to be like you to go to heaven than I'll gladly burn and than hung up.
My brother told me she's really upset I want nothing to do with her and according to her none of the abuse happened... I was so mad at her I never went to my aunt or my grandma's funerals because I couldn't stand to be near her...
My brother pat thinks I'm making more of it than it is and I told her I wouldn't even go to her funeral unless it was to make sure she was really dead.
I'm not really asking if I'm a jerk for how I treat my mother because she's the cause of alot of therapy and a learning disability due to some many concussions as a kid. now what I'm curious about is I've began more and more not having contact with my brother since I know he reports back to her.. she knows where I live, what i drive I mean everything.. I've not really talked to her but a few times and only seen her once since my dad picked me up from the hospital yet she still sends me letters and even emails trying to talk to me (not to apologize but to ask for money or if I'll help her with something)
I wanna cut contact with my brother pat but my dad's final wishes were to keep close to him and I feel like I'd be letting my dad down by cutting contact.
Sorry if I rambles I get nervous talking about this even at my age nearly 40 and am trying not to cry

My brother in christ I am absolutely fuming right now on your behalf. My blood is boiling and I'm ready to go to war on your behalf. Your mother is proof that the devil goes to church every Sunday. She is a vile evil human incubator, don't give her the privilege of being called a mother because she isn't. As for cutting contact with your brother, you need to, for your own sake. Your father, who obviously loved you and was continually screwed over by the corrupt "justice" system that thinks women always deserve to keep children full time, would understand completely why you are cutting him out. If you for some reason can't do that buy yourself a cheap burner phone and just give him that number. Only contact that can be had would be with that and change your personal phone number. Block your filthy disgusting cunt of a "mother" on every platform and if she tries coming to physically confront you again have cameras, record on your phone, file for a restraining order, press charges. She deserves to be thrown in a shallow ditch on the side of the road. Actually scratch that, I shouldn't insult ditches.

And I will say it again don't panic, believe me you are not the first person who got theys passport destroyed on a trip, probably not last either

I don’t have access to wherever I can make this an official story this crazy thing happened to me today. So, I switch houses between my mom and dad because they are separate I was at my moms small apartment complex a few weeks ago a new neighbor who I knew from school moved in he came to my moms apartment room and asked me to come to the pool I said yes and went with him I was there for maybe 5 minutes before the incident me and my friend were playing catch and I made a bad throw it hit someone and we immediately apologized then 2 other ladies come over to where we are playing and say”can you at least apologize”. Me and my friend were a little stunned but we apologized again and they still continued yelling at us at one point of of them threatened me to call the police and the other said they would slap me at this point other people were joining in yelling at us and we didn’t want to get out of the pool for fear of getting hurt so we back and fourth argued and at that point I just lost it I said “can you people back off we are just here to enjoy ourselves I think they will be fine it wasn’t a bad hit”. The Karen’s were a little shocked that I did this being 14 years old they started demanding I leave the pool and saying they would speak to the manager of the complex’s and have my mother kicked out of her home I then said “you think that’s a bad hit look at this scar on my eye I took a 70 mile per hour baseball there and I didn’t go at anyone like this you have no right to tell me what to do”. She then called her husband to help and he threatened to call the police and also to drown me in the pool. Me and my friend were shaken and we left for fear of getting hurt I don’t know what to do. Should I call the police or go to the owner of the complex or something?

the one about caffeine: doesn't know nothing about caffeine addiction, I started drinking machine coffee at 4 y/o and at 20 used to drink 4-5 energy drinks per day + 1-1.5liters of machine coffee a day and did nothing to me, I'm not proud of that, in fact I quit coffee a couple of years ago and drink 1 to 2 cans of energy drinks per week, but still they had no effect on me( I'm 33 now). so whoever find themselves drinking too much coffee and/or energy drinks, quit it now, it has(as far as my experience goes) more than long lasting effects

I can personally personally confirm that caffeine can do this to you I personally experience something similar tho this only happens when you suddenly stop with the caffeine after a huge intake.
