I forgot what exact episode it is but I remember Okita was like that cuz Chizuru wanted to patrol with them and , if I'm not wrong, she has to defeat Hajime to be able to do so. And when she said that she'd try, Okita laughed like that saying something like she'll never be able to win. So that episode should be one of the first few.
