I will never be satisfied with the ending. Look it’s an okay ending in general, but the fact EVERYONE gets a true happy ending EXCEPT for Simon?! That’s so messed up. He got a tolerant ending, Everyone else got either what they wanted or better.
That's where I have to respectfully disagree! Every character is met with some hard pill to swallow. Finn lost his brother. Fionna and Cake couldn't get their magical world back. Marceline ended up losing her mom, then the only father figure she really had. Bubblegum had lost everyone she loved and so made a kingdom to love her... the thing is Simon's story isn't over yet. I really look forward to the healing he goes through as we watch the story progress.
