keep in mind there are 30 people in here that have never even seen molten core, and the 10 sweats in there are not allowed to offer any advice. Overall it was a messy ass raid, one of the easiest raids too. But it made good content, they wanted deaths, Amphy was there so they have the expertise available.
The entire point of the guild was to take people who have never raided before, have them play on HC, and then do the raid. Go watch over Target Dummies first MC. There was deaths literally like every boss too.
They arent stupid. They are multimillionaires who entertain hundreds of thousands of people. They are obviously trying to replicate an authentic classic wow raiding experience. For your average person this experience is little to no research. They purposely are going into this blind to increase the risk and thus increase viewer retention
In HC Elite we remind people to repop GFPPs before basically every fire-ele-pack. That Blossom-Gatling hurts and is deadly for fresh characters. GFPPs are so cheap, might as well chain-pop them (nan-shield ftw)

Think you've missed the point. The sweats were told to be quiet and the other 29 noobs either had no idea or were just bad ON PURPOSE. It's clear he only studied up on the bosses. You had sub-10 gray parses. Make it seem like you're going to constantly wipe in order to get views. Multiple streamers had 100k viewers on their streams.

Had a really good raid leader led this and they cleared it easily, it would just be lackluster content

I disagree with your commentary on Fandys death - that there was no counterplay and nothing could be done. There were many things she could have done to prevent it. Context is important, their viewer/sister/whatever guild died to the exact same mechanic weeks ago, when they started MC. (yes weeks before the 'main' guild lol) It's not a surprise or random or accident.. its a known thing that literally could have been prevented. It's like saying if it happens again next week, well nothing we could have done.. err no? The second important context is that her death was overkill by 133 health. 1. Know the mobs and their abilities.. I guarantee you she probably doesnt know there are multiple different types of the flame/fire mobs each with different abilities and required strats 2. (you mentioned this) A full GFPP, not partial 3. Health Pot, Whipper Root, Healthstone, GFPP, anything? (there was more than enough time, specifically 1 second to react) 4. NS-heal 5. She should have a hot rolling on her.. its hardcore.. specifically for this mob encounter that she can swiftmend 6. Any other health buff.. food buff? Stam enchants on all items? 7. Not using a cookie cutter BIS website, and actually picking some stam items or even a stat stick.. specifically for this encounter.. hello its hardcore? 8. Both of these mobs have two abilities, one each has a debuff and an attack.. she gets both debuffs, the first one is -1000 armour which is not relevant and the second one is -50 fire res.. her positioning was too close to the mobs, you can see other ranged to the right, behind the dps meter not get debuffed. Also greater range may have assisted in visually seeing herself get nuked and attacked again. 9. Not sure if FR gear is available/librams(havent been paying that much attention) 10. Preshield low health casters specifically for this pack 11. Priest shield would have saved her 12. Her frames suck for healing, she has % health bars.. which means she has no idea how much health she or others have, so would have no idea on who to prioritise effectively.. how much was left on her GFPP, what her effective health pool was and if she was within 1 shot territory for this mob encounter. 13. There is currently 1 person damaged, no raid healing is required and the fact a priest shield didn't go out when there are multiple priests is shocking.. until you see the onny video.. then it all makes sense. 14. Firebloom fires off every 1 second for 6 seconds.. but the mob is usually dead before it gets off all 6 blooms.. but mathematically if 5 blooms go off its about a 10% chance, 4 blooms is over 7% and 3 blooms if about 5% chance of being targeted consecutively twice in the same rotation.. thats if there are 40 people in the raid.. the other consideration is for 3 blooms, with the raid healing so poor and asleep, there's a chance 1st and 3rd bloom could have killed her also I'm sure theres heaps more, but this is just off the top of my head, but yeah.. 100% shouldn't be dying there, you should plan for getting hit twice when you have low gear and low dps.. they just get complacent.. It's like idiots who pickup snakes, spiders or anything from the beach that kills you(yes, I'm from Australia).. the last 5 times I did it, it didn't kill me.. then just ignore dying as a possibility and stop taking precautions.. all the gfpp's that people are using, the healers probably dont even realise there's a mechanic.. heck the healer that died is confused on a mobs basic mechanic lol.. girl, you're meant to be saving people from that mechanic. It's exactly the same as Ampy's death.. any tanks taunt the mob.. nobody did.. mage dead.. boohoo.. basic mob mechanic.
I agree with your assessment. there is enough time to react. The only counter argument could be that they dont think they will take another hit, since its a low chance. again rolling hots and liberal priest shields going into the pull etc
@@dwarflord If their sister guild didn't lose members to it weeks ago, I'd cut them some slack.. but the chance to get a double blossom is higher than some loot on the loot table, its complex to calculate, but if 3 blossoms go off its about 5% if the raid is full.. just because its rare, doesn't mean you shouldn't plan for it. No different from a melee copping a hit, falling below the threshold (2800-3200) and then legitimately getting 1 shot from 1 blossom.. the healing has been so bad, there's an argument that probably if she got 1st and 3rd she still might have died.. the probability goes up to 10% if its 5 blossoms.. no doubt 1 week they might decide to attack the wrong fire mob lol.. Call me cynical, I think the counter-argument is they actually have no idea of any of the mechanics of the trash(or anything), it almost seems deliberate? Lets say you're creating a guild full of streamers and casuals, you then split the guild via race? lol.. Where are the class captains imparting knowledge and skills, setting the standards, or even just organising things such as healing assignments, offtank adjustments and such on the fly. Presumably it's still fixed buffs limit, who's organising what hots can be on the tanks so they dont max out and push off major buffs.. Hots should be perma rolling on the tanks and herself in hardcore.. druids are cheat mode when it comes to healing in raids.. look at her raid frames, you cant even tell who's in what group, or what their actual health pool is.. If you have two people at 50%, one might have full consumes and the other not(no doubt she has any idea that different classes have naturally higher health, such as hunters/locks).. one could be 3.5k+ and the other 2k health.. terrible.
Ony is weird fight, especially in phase 3. OF course it can be controlled and taken down safely with threat management, which is usally lacking. Not sure if its worth my time or energy however
Another way, other than what you mentioned .. if they had better priests who have Mouse Over Macro for Powerword shield Fandy could of lived that way. Great coverage of their raid, had a good laugh

@dwarflord to be fair thinking about it now, the super clutch reactions I've seen from healers tends to be directed more towards melee for obvious reasons and not to other healers.. so to get a bubble in time would be a stretch!
They did have Ahmpy, but they asked him to stay quiet. Soda is a nub, but it was good content. I had fun watching it all day. The hardcore servers are popping off, I think Onlyfangs has a lot to do with it. It’s good for WoW in general.

There are people in the raid just as if not more knowledgeable than me, and I know they are purposely trying to "suck". But its hilarious to watch them freak out over nothing. Like when soda says OMG we could have wiped and then xaryu echoes to his chat oh my god ya that was so close. and nothing happened.
