British tolerance and sense of fair play will be our undoing. Those values are not shared by certain communities who have arrived en masse to these shores without the consent of the overall population. This problem needs to be addressed urgently.

@@Ichioku Tolerance and sense of fair play only works when the other side plays fairly. Otherwise it is seen as a weakness to exploit and exactly why we are in this situation. The country needs to stop trying to play on the international stage that is is the 'worlds conscience', because when it's own citizens are in a cost of living crises, it looks like hypocrisy. I don't go to work for my wages to be given to the worlds damned like I am some charity.

I commend your attitude , I honestly do . But people need to be aware that in totalitarian states , such as Britain is becoming , resistance is never as easy as that . Two main factors conspire to do that . Firstly , the inherent fear and cowardice of the crowd , who will capitulate to avoid punishment and penalisation . Thus support for dissenting voices falls away . Secondly , the tremendous power of the establishment and media to suppress and isolate dissenting voices , by limiting employment , access to facilities , etc .

Poll tax was not a fairer system at all! It was legal robbery. We bought a house in a tiny village in Lancashire in the 80s, and the old rates under Labour were £50 a year! Cheaper than most because there were very little amenities with it being out in the sticks! We could afford that, working and with 2 young children at that time.
Then in comes Thatcher with the dreaded poll tax, and our £50 per year rates went up to "£1000 EACH" for me and my husband. To say it was a struggle is putting it mildly. We both had to work extra hours to cover it. What an absolute disgrace to put that on working families, even now I can't stand to hear her name! Horrible woman. 🤬😡

Islamophobia is an invented term designed specifically to silence any criticism of the Islamic faith and its people. A phobia is an irrational fear but, on the contrary, I consider it perfectly rational to fear this most intolerant and violent of religious ideologies. There is a good reason that over 90% of the 80 terrorist organisations proscribed by the British government are Islamic extremist groups. The prospect of a Labour government is terrifying and not just because of the particular proposed step towards a British caliphate that has been discussed here.

To Twmpa: Since the Koran itself calls upon Muslims to strike terror into the hearts of the non-Muslims (the Kafirs) (e.g. 3:151, 8:12, 8:60), it is hypocritical for them to demand laws banning "Islamophobia". Under Islam (a political movement) criticizing Islam is a capital offence. This not yet the case in Britain, but the Muslim immigrants have largely succeeded in banning any critical discussion of their totalitarian political movement called "Islam". The Brits have become dhimmis in their own country; there is hardly any need at all for any law banning "Islamophobia".

Since Islam demands death for anyone who leaves it, on the grounds that doing so is treason, and since treason is a political act, not a religious belief, recognizing Islam as a religion should be withdrawn and instead Islam should be recognized for what it mostly is: a totalitarian political movement with a proven record of cruelty, slavery, and the eradication of non-Muslim cultures and peoples over 1400 years, a mortal threat to Western civilization, something that previous generations understood very well.

To David-Johnson-yg8qm: Islam is mostly political, and insists that, in any society, its followers must be in charge, and must be in possession of the best knowledge. This is why Muslims refused to live in a greater India where they were to be a minority in a Hindu nation. (Hindus are an especially low form of Kafir in Islamic thinking and so it was deemed especially insulting to Muslims to live under the rule of Hindus.) The only exception to this is jihad, in which a non-Muslim country is in the process of being Islamized. In that instance, Muslims are permitted- for a time- to submit to the laws of the non-Muslims, without ever really accepting their legitimacy. In due course, the laws of the non-Muslims will be scrapped and sharia will be installed. This is why Muslims are coming Britain; they are coming as settlers and conquerors, to install sharia. The Hindus, knowing what it is like to live under sharia, are made of sterner stuff, and are not so willing to become dhimmis in their own country.

I wouldn't trust any Labour or Conservative party for decades.
They would have to prove, that they know that they made the mistakes, that have got us into the current mess. And that their party has rules in place, to stop this from happening again.
The fact that the electorate has to f1ght against its government, in a democracy, is beyond insane.

You need something like BSW in Germany for Britain. It is like Socialism, but Nationalistic, anti-woke and anti-western. So you can vote against Globalism without getting stuck with moralizing Trumpists. They are also willing to work with the Far Right and support our Christian Herritage, wich is both unusual for Far Left Parties.
