I have one that straps to a pole, NOT a Tree, and it has a cassette deck to play your own Christmas songs. I tested the Built-in songs and I feel the mouth could move more but it worked pretty good. It wasn't Christmas time when I got it so I didn't use it and didn't check the tape deck. I bought a bunch of Christmas cassettes from an estate sale and I hope to try it this year! I do not remember what color the eyes were... I thought they were red, but after seeing this I think they may have been green also. Anyone know how rare the ones with the tape deck are?

I finally got my 3rd one from goodwill!! eyes light up (green). dance's. eyes and mouth work!! and it WILL NOT TURN ON ALL THE WAY!!!! it only goes on for 1 second. that's it.
Well unexpected bloopers if the gears was split which that this one can’t move anymore yikes but it’s a pain to fix but this is not a problem. But this crap happens to my talking tree kit too ish which got jammed or stuck.
