  • Same route as the 'Before' ride, thanks to a merry little conga going the way I had intended, but not to worry - it made for a more direct comparison of before and after where the machine's performance was concerned. It is definitely happier and quicker with the ignition timing set correctly and adequate amounts of fuel reaching the main jet when the throttle is open wide! Progress then, but there may be slight improvements over this to come, yet!

I wish I had a British motorcycle mechanic like you nearby then maybe I can ride my Triumph TR-6. People should be grateful for your services.

There's never been a better time to learn the basics and get it running yourself. The info is out there, lots of Channels like this one that can help. Where are you located and what do you think your TR6 needs to get it back on the road?

Paul is definately one of a dying breed.
A modern 'so called' mechanic, wouldn't have a clue!

@@daveco1270 I am not good with getting computer stuff off the interweb. It's like I say everybody likes sex but not everybody wants to be a gynecologist.

Seemed like a different bike to the earlier run on it. Good work. Thanks for the video. Les

Almost, but not quite. Change cable? Fit straighter lever blades?

I think the lever type is the key to it all.
