The sweet success of Dylan's Candy Bar

As a child, the daughter of fashion design Ralph Lauren loved "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," and wanted to live in a candy land. Today, Dylan Lauren is the founder and CEO of Dylan's Candy Bar, which just celebrated its sweet 16th birthday. Correspondent Alina Cho toured Lauren's New York City flagship store - the largest candy shop in the world - and talked with Dylan about how she found sweet success.

This is DEFINITELY one of the coolest places in NYC, but as a entrepreneur myself, I wonder if a place this big on such a prime location, actually turns a profit selling candy? It reminds me if FAO SCHWARZ, where EEEEVERYONE would go to, but not purchase much and it eventually closed! It could also be opened to be the window to the brand but turn profits in other locations. Whatever the case may be, it sure is a definite destination when in the city!
