I did this on my boyfriend yesterday, I felt like I was winging it and there were times I was really confident and other times I was worried I botched it. But it ended up coming out amazing. Not only was his hair past his shoulders by an inch but it’s also SUPER thick so it took a lot longer than this video. We are both very pleased with the results. Just wanted to add this so others who are nervous like I was can overcome and do it.

Simple fast well done vertical cutting and styling. Not having a dedicated part allows the client to choose any or no part at all. Great cut for easy client maintenance.

Love the cut! Could you please wear a different color when cutting dark hair. It’s difficult to see your technique, also I couldn’t see your technique with the razor because it too blended with the hair color. This is a great, quick cut! I love layered looks on men!
do you think this would still look good on someone with fine hair, but high density? my brother has a lot of hair but it's very fine and pin straight. i feel like a lot of this cut relies on having a wave in your hair to style with it

Don't wear a black shirt when doing dark hair, unless you are doing blonde hair.

I think I left the bottom layer to blunt & short and it flips out into a duck tail... how can I fix this? 🙏
It would be a bit easier to see what is happening if the hair color on the model and the color of the instructors shirt had some contrast. You lose a lot of the detail ie. the weft of the hair and angle on the sections being worked once the instructor moves immediately behind the model. Otherwise great video, full of useful tips.
Not crazy about the styling but the cut is great
I love this cut and did it a few times on my husbands hair. I do it a little shorter in the back and it always comes out very nice. But now my husbands wants his top to be side-parted, not the wonderful flippy-floppy-mode, and I am struggeling to find a good tutorial for this. No idea how to handle that. 🙈 Can somebody help?

This is what i ask but my barber doesn’t do any of the sectioning and goes freehand and it turns out uneven with awful layering.

Real human hair is not like this. No barber can cut a customer’s hair in this order, unless the hair is thin. I am a barber in Istanbul.
