I was honoured to do the sound design for this masterpiece, props to Mark for his god-like animation skills.

I think it was very good but it lacked more power like for example a recoil sound would be good.
Honestly I kinda find a pretty terrifying how strong garou is, since he was able to make darkshine regressed to a child in mid combat and perfectly mimic the techniques of other fighters. Silver fang really has one dangerous apprentice.🐱

To be fair to Darkshine 1 attack from him literally destroyed Garou's whole ribcage and all his ribs, Darkshine going against a martial artist who can return the power thrown at them and reflect attacks was the worst match up for him, and even then his attacks were so strong that Garou couldn't deflect some of them.
@@monkeyeknom527 No, redirection alone wasn't the problem. Darkshine can take his own attacks without a problem.
It's that Darkshine going against a martial artist with a fighting style that completely bypasses his armor of muscles (Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist) was the worst possible matchup for him.

I love that even tho Darkshine knows Garou is evil, and that Garou just forced Darkshine to give up, when he sees garou in pain, he still tries to help him. A true hero

That background is so cinematic. The dark, drab sky filled with soot and fire created an apocalyptic feeling as opposed to the manga. Absolutely stunning, great work!
Gotta remember this is after rover fired an absolute shit load of beams, along with orochi, so the association would definitely be a fiery pit by now
True, but in the manga, black and white becomes very hard to tell time of day, lighting, etc.

Honestly. That shot with Garou rivals some of the tops animation companies. It seriously is stunning.

@@markReymer your thumbnail. When he smashed down on dark shine. It just was so smooth looking. It has some real intensity. And seeing it during the fight makes it even more intense cause of the contex. That was an apex predator looking down on a scared sheep.
@@malachiparfait6061To me, it looked more like Garou realizing he ironically became a "bully". I love the scene too. It goes hand in hand with the music. Garou, who bested Darkshine. Looks down on Darkshine realizing he's completely broke him. Reminding him what he endured as a child, only to brush this off. Admitting to himself the evil he will become is worse. As the last spark of humanity he had left is gone, and his monsterization kicks in. The visuals and looks are absolutely stunning and I praise the animator for making this.

it always hurts to see these animations end and have to wait for the next one, but when it comes out it is always so worth the wait!
I am impressed with your work. The visuals, the sound, the music. All perfectly sync to create the conclusion I always wanted to see. A lot of animators have attempted Garou vs. Darkshine. While many are done good, especially Liki's video or Animatts video on it. All have two major flaws. All leave off when Garou becomes Spiral, and they leave out the emotional weight to the fight itself. What makes Garou vs. Darkshine an important fight for both characters is that Garou finally completes his arc on becoming a monster. Even losing his humanity in the process. And Darkshine got to taste defeat for the first time. I absolutely love this fight. Both combatants giving it their all, Darkshine initially overpowering Garou with the latter coming back hard and against the odds winning. You, my friend have captured all that was said before. I am hopping you can also do Garous transformation into a monster too. I would love to see that animated. Otherwise, good job!

Sadly it's jc.staff ofcourse if will look bad, plus the trailer was pre-animated so. Also since it's jc.staff keep your expectations low they are known to not deliver lol.
