The first time I rode on Spaceship Earth was during our 2003 holiday to Walt Disney World, and it became the first ride we went on whenever we visited Epcot. Hearing this fabulous narration from Jeremy Irons takes me right back to those days. Wonderful, wonderful memories.
It’s incredible to me how Disney really butchered the descent of this ride while also dumbing down the script in the newer version. Also, id like to note that as amazing as Horizons was, spaceship earth really was the thesis statement for the entire park. Think about it this way, the themes and ideas of classic Epcot are dependent on our ability to communicate with each other. In the new script, the focus shifts from communication to technology which I’ve always thought was a bad choice.

Eragon was terrible, I like his role of Scar, the villain, in Lion King
But yeah his version is the greatest of all

I've been going to Disney since I was 6yrs old, first trip in 2001, but for whatever reason I do not remember this narration of Spaceship Earth
Fun Fact: this is the 1994-1999 audio because in '99 they updated the Global Neighborhood to be the "New Global Neighborhood"

I'm not sure how different this version is from the current version but it might be neat to sync this audio somewhat with a newer video of the ride
