But the deck gets better each time. I enjoy seeing bad decks getting upgraded as new episodes come out.
It's honestly amazing how modern Ninja uses some of the older cards while replacing many of them entirely. Their legacy support magages to be fitting despite doing a lot of new things. Though considering all the different things Ninja either can or TRIES to do, that's probably an easier feat than it sounds.
I like how they were both reading tiger and failed to notice it says only Frightfur monsters get the buff not fluffals as well

We always anti spell first to force twin and make it a 50/50 to snipe the transformation
Also not using maxx c and drawing 2 off demise turn 1 seemed psychopathic to me

A Fluffal deck can for sure be frustrating. 1 regional somehow I beat them with the most ridiculous maybe more frustrating and possibly insulting to the deck combo. Spellcaster Village with Windwitch Snowball equipped with a moon mirror. The opponent wasn't making comments but his friends watching surely did. It was the weirdest game I ever played. 10 turns without drawing another monster. Yet, when I did had to take other combos in different directions to maintain spell blocking from the opponent. Won the match but even I will admit was a cheap ploy I performed to do so.

I havent seen the video yet. But I always thought it was weird that fluffals was considered JANK.
It felt like Madolches in a way. I always saw a lot of people do well... but prolly not enough to be at least tier 2.
Its a weird void.
It's mostly because there's just better Fusion stuff every time they come up in a way that matters to them.
Shaddolls literally released in the set before it and got more support in the same set that they appeared.
Yeah, you can use them together but you're just kind of making a worse Shaddoll deck.
Even when they get more support then they have Aleister/Invoked release alongside it and Predaplant had since released and got more support there as well.
They just couldn't win. It's like Konami was running Fusion decks through a marathon and never wanted them to be more than fourth place at best.
It didn't help through how staggered most of the key cards release actually were. Frightfur Tuger was originally a Jump Promo I believe, and other cards that would define later editions of the deck were too far off in the future.
I think a better comparrison. Other than Madolche, would maybe be D/D/D. Yes, Fluffal's skill ceiling, like D/D/D is exceptionally high, but the TCG release schedule did nit do those decks any favors.
Fluffals are like Heroes in a way. Really good at murdering your opponent, but not much else besides maybe a pop or floodgate.
Big fan of modern Fluffals and modern Ninjas, these days Fluffals can break "unbreakable" boards going second and OTK, OR, build an unbreakable board going first, and Ninjas are a very good anti meta strategy when the meta decks require their monster to be face up (Kashtira, for example). Is quite interesting to see how those decks worked before all that.
with some of the more competent jank decks it would really be interesting to see how they would fair against the top decks instead of just against the 12th best deck played by the 15th best pilot of that deck. really hard to see if a deck really was a rough option at the time or just something people played because they wanted to play that deck or it was hyped for no reason

Can someone explain why you can flip anti-spell to counter twin twisters? I’m sure you can flip IO to negate MST, so why can’t this work the same way?
Anti-spell Fragrance only prevents the players from activating spell cards that are not on the field, or flipping up a face down spell card if it was set this turn, and it only does those two things after it resolves. So chaining it will not stop any spell cards that are already face up on the field from doing whatever they're doing.

Why did Cimo not use his Black Dragon Ninja's effect to banish Utopia? They play the cards without knowing what they do? Really? Of course he would need to sacrifice his own Ninja but it was gonna be destroyed anyway, so why not taking the Utopia with him?

Hanzo is only on normal summon
On normal summon, he searches a Ninjitsu Art, on special or flip summon a Ninja.
Wait where the hell is history of jank at the moment? I thought this was in the middle of Zoo format. Shouldn’t foolish burial goods be in fluffals right now?
MBT said they were "in 2016" last time they updated the wheel. I think they did show off a few cards from Invasion: Vegeance in the graydle game a few weeks ago, so they're in the set before Zoo looks like.
Not in zoo yet. But also history of jank is jank on how they run it. But that's why I love it, also the whole synergy between these two.
Why Ninjitsu Art of Alchemy over Magic Planter? Searchability ?
Yeah, the advantage is you can directly set it off the Notebook or search it with Hanzo. You can also use it on your first turn by destroying the Notebook, whereas Magic Planter can only be used on your second turn.

Though it was a bit of a cheating moment, something interesting to note is that Hanzo actually only triggers on normal summon! Weird that they’d not include special, since cards like Stratos that came before it include that, but it’s a nice learning moment
Hanzo has two effects, one on normal summon, and a different one on special or flip summon

The armor ninjitsu art of alchemy says "... Destroy as many other Ninjitsu cards you control ....", so does that mean Cimooo shouldn't have destroyed his art of transformation? Does the card even work if you don't control at least 2 ninjitsu art cards?
You need to control at least one Ninjitsu Art card to activate Alchemy. The fact that the effect says specifically cards in plural doesn't matter, since the activation requirement is "If you control a Ninjitsu Art card"
