I’ve ordered the correct one, installed correctly and I’m having all these issues.
Per the Amazon Description is does work with Dodge Challengers, 2017 and up.

I installed this same throttle controller on my Lexus ls460 and it worked fine for a couple of months then it went south with the same issue you are having... Check engine, VSC and traction control indicators lit and then it would have a hard time accelerating down the road... I would clear the errors using a obd2 scanner and no issues for weeks at first then it started happening more frequent like every couple of days! I got tired of dealing with it and finally uninstalled, and have had NO issues since! I agree, when it worked it was amazing. I paid $50.99 on Amazon, seems like a bargain but not so if it fails after a few months!
For the price, I thought it was bad ass, until it didnt work correctly
@@bogi2326 it's plug n play, it's designed for the specific vehicle, no cal required

It worked with my Durango r/t as advertised. I’ve been using this for months now, with no issues yet.
I’m thinking of getting one for my 8 speed Durango R/T, is there still no problems?
@@Bigredrt I have one on my 2014 Limited. No issues. Only thing I noticed is with the pedal being so sensitive sometimes it will cause the 8 speed to downshift from like 4th to 3rd in town
I had the SAME issues with both the pedal commander and the Roar pedal. Car goes limp, check engine AND lightning bolt alarm, car jerking when in limp. Just like he said it’s awesome having them WHEN THEY WORK but not if it fucks your car up. I want to try another brand but I don’t want to throw money away or damage my car.
Had same issue with my jeep and the speedform controller which looks familiar. Worked like a charm for several months until recently where it throws the same codes requiring me to clear the dtc codes . Had to uninstall and problems go away.
Question? When you installed the wiring to pedal, did you keep the fey fob atleast 35 feet away? Or keep the key in a Faraday bag/box? And after installing the wires connectors to pedal finally bring your key into Car? I was told when you install it you gotta keep your fob far away when installing.
If you ever change the settings on it while in drive or moving, you will have problems. Don’t know if that is something you did at some point or not. I’ve had mine in my 4th gen ram for 3 years no problems. I only adjust settings when sitting still in park or neutral.
i wish mine worked at all. Maybe mine was just defective
It says on directions you can do this one on the fly but I still don’t
I just purchased one for my Mercedes SLK and it trashed my gas pedal sensor that I had to replace the pedal with sensor. Thought it was just my pedal on the way out, so installed it in my other SLK and same thing. They refunded me, but I'm out $80 each for 2 used pedals and trying to see if they will make it right.

Make sure its all plugged in tight mine had come lose at the junction box where you plug the originl throttle cable in to and caused limp mode ect went to remove it and noticed it wasent in all the way
Mine worked on my ram 1500 for like 3 years and now it’s finally starting to get a check engine light
These items are sold by different sellers when purchased on Amazon. Some work from some sellers and some don't. Return the defective part and buy from another seller.
If you unplug it does the check engine light go away? Perhaps you have a defective unit.
Ive installed one on my vauhall corsa , and it was working fine untill my car went in limp mode and managment light came up after i left my car for about two weeks after breaking my hand , and i couldemt determin what it was , was about the get my head gasket done thinking it ws that but pressure was fine ect , turns out the the original throttle cable that goes in the junction box had come lose and was causing all the issues i had for ages . Ffs
I see this is an older video so assuming you are still wanting to use this try rewiring the power wiring so its pulling power somewhere else like a fuse tap and not pulling the power from the gas pedal connection it throws the car off

Same issue with my 2011 Ram 1500 both 9 Drive and Pedal Commander will work for a while then all sudden check engine light comes on then that stupid lighting bolt comes on basically can’t press the gas it’s in like limp mode..Turn truck off an back on it seems to work like a temporary fix but engine stays on..Very annoying
yep....maybe the fact that it was $50 ONLY, has something to do with it lol
I'm having issues with mine on my Ram 1500 I didn't know you were supposed to not push the buttons while you're driving after I did it a couple times the ABS and electronic brake and break light came on and will not turn off even after putting everything back to stock
my buddy did the same...after he took it off, everything worked fine again
@@Glockillac I'll try it I wonder if it takes a while cuz I did disconnect it and it didn't reset but maybe after a couple times
My english is limited, i have the same problem in my subaru impreza and i can fixed, try this... find the plug number in my case is 813, this number is in the box, next, press the Mode botton for 2 or 3 seconds, and set the same plug number. Clear the enging check, if you have an a scaner. Good luck
After set the same plug number, must do the 自学模式 or not?
I just got a car from the auction and I think the people before had this and no my car won’t accelerate at all if you disconnect yours will the gas pedal work?

That means you didn’t connect it right
Idk if you tried it or not but they say you should have your Key fob away from the car when installing just installed on my DD RT
How’s it been on your DD so far
@@21kawada I love it no issues throttle response is amazing no lag at all in Race/P3 mode. Even though it doesn’t increase hp it feels like it, when you hit the gas from a stop it gives you that “throw you back in your seat” feeling
My guess is it's a faulty unit or one of the plugs aren't tight.

naw, I just got a refund
Following cause I just got one, put it in my RAM and it worked but the check engine light did come on and I noticed that the 9 Drive display did not turn off after I shut the engine off.

I don't have the engine light on but the controller stays lit up on my Ram 2009 1500 hemi I don't think that's right are you still using yours? And does it run down the battery at all?

You maybe have the wrong one for your car...

It may need calibrating. Im sure you press and hold the plus and minus buttons in and turn the ignition lights on. It should start counting down. Press the Accelerator to the floor and then release. Do this a couple of times and just let the timer go to 0. Should calibrate the controller
Need to try that mine doing same thing
