A huge tip that I learned when taking a cold shower is to not think about it. If you think about it , it only becomes colder but when you don’t think about how cold it is, you start to realize that the water has become warm even though it’s still on cold water. Hope that helps :) ! God bless 💗

Yes it is in the head. Last year I struggled with being productive. Barely exercised. Got all my home work in last minute, or never even turned it in. But this summer I’ve been working hard on myself. And I have improved a lot. And I have gotten past that big hill of laziness. And the 2 things that will definitely help. Is keeping off your phone. And only using it when you have to. And not laying on your bed, unless your going to sleep.
What I do to try motivate myself if I’m cleaning I time lapse myself or i vlog what I’m planning on doing so I feel like I’m doing it for something and not for the sake of it if u get me

I also always love to have something in the background, like a TH-cam video or music. Not because I actually listen or watch, but 8t just makes me feel a lot better. I have a screen time of abt 5 hrs from just having stuff in the background of basically my entire life.
I always enter the shower warm and turn it cold about 1 minute in, it helps with overcoming the fear to get into the shower. Idk if it has the same health benefits but this is what works best for me🥰

this video came to me at the right time . currently, I've been working in myself and just yesterday I felt so grateful, and wanted to end my night with selfceare routine. I've been drinking more water and today I started a detox. I will follow do this challenge a well :) for the rest of June with the goal being that I continue these habits even. after June. Thank you for sharing not just your experience during the challenge, but also your takeaways from it. There's so many videos out on pretty much the same habits, but I wasn't even aware of that until your video posted. Starting to realize that though them may be healthy habits themselves, trying to realistically fit all of them into a limited time frame is not so healthy. One may need to incorporate time management in some cases for people like myself that tend to get carried away with things I find enjoyable and have a habit of over indulging and limiting any time to do much afterwards. The thig about healthy habits is you should definitely add only one at a time but also be gentle with yourself about missing them sometimes, if you really taken the time to instill it as a habit, yall still want to do it even if you miss it a few times

if you have a cold shower in the morning it can help with blood circulation and if you try deep breathing it really helps to not feel as cold. (Try to take a cold shower in 30 second intervals each time you have a shower that way you will be able to have a 2 minute cold shower) hope this helps anyone who wants to try having cold showers 😃💗

I watched this video about how hard the military work to keep us safe and it was this very inspiring speech and it said we can make the world a better place by accomplishing at least one thing and it said to make your life different at least make your bed because that accomplishing at least one thing

I think that for the waking up at a consistent time everyday you also have to go to sleep at a consistent time everyday owo I know it's not always possible, but the point is to make it a habit.
For the record, it's not necessary for you to drink exactly 2L of water everyday, it depends on how much water you body needs and your kidney can process. Sometimes excess water harms your excretory system. So just drink water when you are thirsty. Another tip is that, drink 'X' liter(s) of water for every X thousand(s) calories you intake. i.e, if you take 2500 calories a day, drink 2.5L of water. Thus you can stay healthy and hydrated. Love 🖤
The thing is I think that if you're spending a lot of time on something that keeps you up past 11 PM then you're probably spending too much time on it, I personally get off my desk at 7-9 PM and if you're still tired you could take a 30 minute (30 minutes is the ideal time) nap at around 3:00 PM (it's apparently the most ideal time to take a nap) and when I take a nap, most likely many other people, after you wake up, you feel so refreshed and you'll be able to fix your mood, you can also take smaller or longer naps. Cold showers help metabolism, the "exercise everyday" or "movement" can be anything. Cleaning can be a part of "movement" and exercise, a taking a walk on your off days when you don't feel like going to the gym or can't, go for a run and or walk everyday. I think these insights could help you try it all, she says "they're not beneficial" but I think they all are and I think everyone should try it and if you don't that's fine. Meditation is about being the present, not about thinking of whatever calms you down, meditation is about knowing where you are right now, there's no danger, there's no fear of past or future and it could help see that "hey, those things I got mad about isn't affecting me right now" I hope you all give it a try
Tip I learned while taking cold showers: Usually I start with a warm if not hot while I wash my body and then slowly change it to cold as I wash my face and hair. That way I enjoy a warm show and still get the benefits of a cold shower and with the gradual change in temp. Love you lots 😘

Meditation is about being the present, not about thinking of whatever calms you down, meditation is about knowing where you are right now, there's no danger, there's no fear of past or future and it could help see that "hey, those things I got mad about isn't affecting me right now" I hope you all give it a try

hi!!! I've been wanting to read Colleen's books but i dont know were to start. Do you have any recommendations of what i should start with?
Tip I learned while taking cold showers: Usually I start with a warm if not hot while I wash my body and then slowly change it to cold as I wash my face and hair. That way I enjoy a warm show and still get the benefits of a cold shower and with the gradual change in temp.
