After years of lurking just out of shot, the Mercedes W126 has its moment in the lime light getting a new window seal in hopes of Minimising its unwanted mouldy tendency's .
I have the 1987 300sdl w126 turbo diesel. Great driving cars. I wish mine were manual transmission. Along with my 1987 300d. I dont like automatic transmission. But I still love them both
You might want to completely remove the seats and carpet, then the sound deadening on the floor. I just had to do this on my 91 W126, water was leaking in and completely soaked the interior. The carpet will *never* dry unless it's removed. The foam underneath holds an astounding amount of water!
Hey Guys I know this is the Benz but I just acquired a 97 SAAB 900 SE turbo Talledega. Needs a new seatbelt mechanism. Any chance you have one or know of anyone wrecking a 900?
You must seal the outer and inner lip around the seal or you will end up with rusty bottom corners and a wet boot. Water must not get passed the seal and collected behind it.
Watching that seal untuck at the end was the most satisfying thing to watch 😂😂
Great work guys looking forward to the next vlog on the Mercedes 👍👍

Found one, SAAB wreck, Melbourne
Look under the rear parcel shelf in the boot
There will probably be rust
Is that repairable?
