The laces are correct from the 2000 pair …. I had them back in the day … those were the good times … niketown exclusive in NYC… the original niketown on 57th street … everyone lined up and was peaceful 🙏🏽… the toe box looks a lil off in my opinion (the shape of the toe box) … thank u for the review brother 🙏🏽👊🏽
I had them too from Niketown on 57th street. My moms actually called mid day and asked if they had any left and they had my sz 14 left. She was able to pay over the phone and they held them until she got off work. I was 14yrs old and I still wear a sz 14 at 37yrs old.

I had the last retro and it was good but the colors of the midsole were flipped and it was darker since there was more navy blue than white and I necer liked that tbh, and I personally prefer the round laces, it makes them a little bit more special since it’s the only colorway with those laces (that I can think of) but I think you can get them under retail. The only pairs I paid retail so far have been the Bred reimagined and Military Blue, unless it’s a collab or something sough after like some OG colorways I think it’s not worth to pay retail for any retros, but we’ll see

These were a Retro + along with the Midnight Navy 6’s when they dropped in 2000… So those didn’t have the Nike Air on the back, only the OG’s
I still don't have a pair of 6s with tumbled leather where the suede is on most other pairs.
They are selling below retail on Goat as I type this.
My favorite 6 of all time and the first shoe I’ll double up on hopefully they don’t feel like stiffer leather like the 2012 pairs
