Yup. The fight scene is my favourite! That scene is really bringing out the best from the actor and the character itself. How Wai is being protective for his friend, and Pran is being protective for Pat and Pat himself wanted to protect Pran from Wai.. It really feels suffocating to watch them in that scene, almost like watching àn action fighting scene with effect, blood and everything. This scene also the key scene that build up for the last scene between Pat and Pran. Next episode might have scene that is more suffocating. I wouldn't believe the trailer, no more. 😆🤣

There's something I learned from the movie 'Parasite' that is the meaning of 'high' and 'low'. So I feel that the rooftop location adds meaning to the kiss-- their love is above the world that they live in. Their world is filled with so much hate and anger, their love is like 'the sun' and they are 'the East'. Again, after the fight, when Pran stands and Pat is on the ground, their positions (one is high, one is low) also adds meaning to their relationship. Pat is starting to climb up to reach Pran's level in their relationship so they can both be together. I seriously feel a lot for this series. Reminds me why I love literature so much. You all are an inspiration to me! Thank you!🙏
I have no words that is how speechless I am with this series. The chemistry between the characters, the storyline, the way p'aof portray the story is just so good idk what to say. For me this episode was such a good twist that I never expected and I like it so much. The past 4 episodes we could see pat and pran's relationship with each other and how their surroundings (families and friends) influence their relationship. We could also see pran's pov of what he felt and all the jealousy he had to endure for the past years because he thought him and pat will never be together due to their families relationship + pat's feelings towards him were just as friends, so he stepped back due to fear of getting hurt, parents judgement etc. But in this episode we could see the complete opposite thing happened with pat. Instead of backing down he confronted his feelings, he only focused on that and prioritize his feelings first before all the problems they might face if they do end up together in the future. This episode made us see more of the differences between the two characters way of thinking and the way they portray their feelings. I was so immersed in the story, by the way ohm and naon acted made me felt like I was in their position. I could feel all the emotions stacked up between those two, the desperation, the need and want for each other. Moreover, the build up before the kiss scene is amazing. I could feel pat's hesitation, whether he should confess or not and I could see pran's frustration of pat's unclear actions towards him ( as pat literally just told pran he likes ink so obv he was like "tf this mf doing with my feelings" ) but once pat took a step and got closer you could see pran tensed as he slightly step back. When pat got closer and they kissed, you could see pat was leading the kiss and pran was overwhelmed but as soon as pat let go and pran looked into pat's eyes, he finally let go all his pent up feelings towards pat + his worries and just go with his feelings for once without caring about the consequences just this once. During the kiss, we could feel all the raw emotions and it was so touching. After the kiss, again we can see the contrast between the two characters. Pat was happy since he finally confirmed his feelings toward pran and pran feelings towards him and he was happy they are both on the same page. However for pran it was bittersweet. He never expected him and pat would be a reality so it felt like a dream. A dream he knew he has to wake up from no matter how happy he is. He knew they can't be together, he knew it's gonna be hard and he don't want to get hurt, again. Pran is scared, overwhelmed by all his emotions leading to him breaking down after the kiss and he left without a word. Again, this is what I felt as I watched the series and my analysis. I am just so amazed by p'aof directing + ohmnanon amazing acting. Idk how ohm and nanon conveyed all those feelings. Kudos, to everyone for making me cry like a bitch, I am waiting eagerly to see how the next episode is gonna be!!
You took the words right out of my mouth! Pat was living in the present while Pran was already thinking about the future. And when Pat saw his face you can see the moment bis heart drops as he also realizes that it won't be easy for them. Their acting was so phenomenal this episode! And the fight scene before. Where Pat was jealous and Pran was confused by his behavior! I'm looking forward to the rest of this show. Definitely the best bl this year in my opinion! Stuff like this makes me want to be a director or something similar where I can make people feel raw emotions. That I still have to figure out for myself 😅
10:52 for jimmy, i think he learned A LOT from p'aof & veteran actors like ohm nanon from this series. The moment he said "i understand " , he already went beyond of what he can do & he did so well. He learned how to be the character from one of the best co-actors & director. This man i tell you, he's gonna improve a lot more in the future.
When P'Aof teared in the reaction - I lost it too. Not only is he so proud of his direction of this series, especially this episode, he must also be so delighted how his grooming of all the actors in the series really paid off. Having seen some other discussions, I think the kiss scene was really poignant and powerful especially because everything has been leading up to this moment. If we'd gotten an 'I like you" confession or anything like that, it wouldn't have been genuine or believable at all given the years of repressed feelings the 2 characters have held in for years. Thank you P'Aof and the cast for this wonderful series to brighten up my Friday evenings, and I'm definitely looking forward to P'Jo and P'Aof's works in 2022 as well! :)

PAof and PJo are having so many projects coming up next year, earthmix have 2 series coming up, phuwinpond, and nanon has like tons of projects, can’t even count, and looks like Jimmy will have a new show as well, 2022 will be such a full year, and we are fed up with tons of good shows, some of them looks super promising, can’t wait!! Just dropping into appreciate your hard work P'Aof. You did a marvelous job creating Bad Buddy. Hands down the best BL of this year. It was the smartest decision to pair up OhmNan for this series. Their chemistry is just fire. They compliment each other so damn well. This show is gaining more and more international fans and we are happy that even these reaction videos are getting actively subbed. It's a great way to expand your audience as we like to watch not just the series but also get to know your thoughts and reviews. The whole cast is amazing and we're still halfway through the story though it has already gone beyond our expectations. I will miss this series badly once it's over. The whole Bad Buddy production team has worked hard and as you can see through the fans it's already paying off. Cast and crew deserve the spotlight! Hope P'Aof can bag several awards for this next year. A cinematic storytelling with a brilliant young cast! I hope Ohm and Nanon get more challenging roles to expand their careers, and after seeing next year's projects I'm happy that they have already started doing that. Jimmy is also making headline for a newbie actor, he got skills off and on screen too! Once again, thank you P'Aof for giving us this brilliant drama this year, you have done a splendid job, and also this would go down as one of the most memorable BLs in the history of BLs! I binged through this in two days. I’ve always wanted to see a “peer review” sort of reaction since I’m always curious if others also noticed what I noticed. If they’d react the same way, be moved the same way, get frustrated the same way and also to get a different perspective on things that I may have missed. The fact that P’Aof is in it is an added bonus because we get a directors commentary! P’Aof did fantastic with this episode and I’m so grateful on how he chose to convey the emotional journey Ohm had and how raw some of the scenes were. Having watched the bts as well as hearing him speak on how he guided the scene between Wai, Pat and Pran has made me appreciate the effort he put into it. Thank you! This episode was one of the best in my opinion. The rooftop scene I’ve watched and rewatched just to catch every micro expression and analyze every emotion they were going through. From anger, to confusion to relief to despair… I still can’t believe how capable these boys are. Both boys performed wonderfully, but I have to admit that Ohm’s “no..” to Nanon’s “do you want us to be friends?” lives rent free in my head. RENT FREE! OMG! Last but not least, thank you for the subtitles! Greatly appreciated!

That's how good the shift in point of view was. We've been seeing Wai around Pran for 4 episodes and not one of thought that Wai had feelings for Pran. That's because we were watching Wai from Pran's view. Then suddenly we see this episode from Pat's view and so many of us start to question if Wai has feelings for Pran. We're seeing what Pat is seeing. In episode 5 Wai seemed like a cocky asshole and Korn seemed okay all of a sudden. That's the brilliance of the story telling is in this show. The shift in point of views of main characters is very strategically executed.
Good job to the director P'aof. Its true. This is another dimension for BLs. The kiss is sensual but not sexual. Emotion wins coz thats what the character wants the audience to feel. The first kiss of 2 people trying to keep their feelings. Emotion in the kiss exploded! Perfect!
Thank you P'Aof for how you directed the series. It's still in Episode 5 and all I can say that it has not disappointed the fans. I'm also touched and happy how your friends react to your work and how they show how they are happy and proud of you. Can't wait for the next episodes!

First of all, thanks you guys very much for adding eng subs to the videos, it closes the circle for me so then now I can think about ep 06. Also, I feel like hanging out with friends when I watch your Reactions and Recaps. I read a lot of comments and reviews about this episode but none told about how wonderfull the soundtrack is in the final sequence, but also in the whole episode. unfortunely P'Aof didn't make any comment about the soundtrack. I'm a lot curious about how it came to be that way, if the director himself asked any musician composer to compose the soundtrack specifically for that sequence? The soundtrack was so perfect, matched so perfectly the characters feelings. For me whoever worked into this deserves a lot of credits
Thanks for the reaction + recap!! Maybe to get my personal boohoos out first. Like P'Jack, I found it quite abrupt to start the Freshy Day scene with just the final note of the song Pat's band played. Might be a smooth transition if we at last hear the last few chords? Also, personally speaking, I found Pat's sudden change in attitude towards Pran between scenes a little confusing. Between the scene at the Architect faculty where Pat brought Pran the thumbdrive, and the next time we see them in one scene at the music store, Pat seemed like a changed person. In the former, he was jovially teasing Pran about his scent. And the next thing we know, he's all awkward around Pran (before he did the mental love indicator checklist). Lack of scene continuity? Apart from these minor points, I loved EP 5! Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to like EP 5 so much because the trailer for EP 5 just screamed drama tropes to me. Yet P'Aof managed to spring surprises just by reconfiguring the order of events. Like P'Jo said, it was like a rollercoaster ride - we know the twists and turns, the climb and the plunge, but we just don't know when. Throw in good acting from the leads, and voilà! Magic! For example, instead of the usual drama plot of Pat being rejected by Ink and then being guided by Ink to realise his true feelings, we have Pat figuring out his feelings BEFORE the 'confession'. With this, the 'confession' changed into closure to Pat's high school crush. Plus, we escape the possibility that Pran's just a substitute. Brilliant! I also love the slow reveal of their past through flashbacks, like pieces of a jigsaw slowly being pieced together. Since the first time we were shown how Pran's mom turned up at the Christmas concert, I had this nagging feeling that the reason why she made Pran change school was because she found out about his feelings for Pat. That would explain why Pran's first reaction on seeing his mom was to turn to look at Pat. It can't be that his mom had only just found out they were in the same school/class, since they've been comparing grades and awards since forever. Besides, Pran has the habit of sketching memorable moments in his sketchbook, so his mom might have stumbled onto something back then. This would tie back to Pran's look of despair after the kiss. I hope we'll find out why in later episodes. The highlight of the entire episode must be the final scene. I wasn't expecting a kiss at EP 5!! I mean, in ATOTS we got it at EP 10.....For me, that scene shone not because of the kiss, but because of everything before and after the kiss. That whole scene was written so beautifully and there's so much details to take in. I saw new things even after watching it thrice. Five things I loved about the scene, apart from the beautiful skyline as backdrop: 1) The lead-in to the roof-top scene was well placed. It brought the emotions to a high point which laid ground for the confrontation at the roof-top where the leads could release their pent up emotions. Good acting from all three actors! I felt the anger even through the screen. 2) How refreshing it is to have a male lead who's not wishy washy, who knows what he wants and goes for it. Once he confirmed his feelings, Pat faced it directly and confessed! I'd thought Pat to be too narcissistic, too confident that Pran returned his feelings. But perhaps he had figured out Pran's feelings upon hearing him say "Stop acting this way towards me". This echoed the lyrics of their song about secret crush, and maybe things finally clicked in Pat's mind. 3) All along we've been shown two very strong-minded male leads. Equally strong, equally proud, equally competitive. Yet in this scene, for the first time, they showed each other their vulnerabilities. They opened their hearts towards each other. I'd thought it was Pran who teared first, but after watching it again, it was Pat who first teared! Like P'Noom said, it was such layered acting from actors, and throughout this scene, we see them reacting to each other's lines via body language and expressions. Perhaps it also helped that this was the final day of filming. It seems that P'Aof tends to put the filming for heavily emotional scenes to the end? Perhaps to leverage on the natural emotions of the cast? 4) On third time watching, I realised that after Pat answered "No", both Pat and Pran took a step towards each other. I was too struck dumbfounded by his reply to watch properly the first time. (My mind went blank!!). Perhaps it would help if we were shown a long or medium shot of this instead of a close-up shot so it'll be more obvious. I like this!!! That they're equals!! It's a mutual decision to step towards each other! And then they kissed, mirroring the fist bumps from EP 1 - Pat reaching out to Pran with a crazy idea, and Pran accepting the idea despite his mind telling him it's impossible. 5) The contrast in their emotional states when they pulled away was striking. We have Pat smiling blissfully vs Pran sobbing in distraught. Then Pran walks away, leaving Pran alone as reality sinks in. "O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" I guess this will become the main theme for the remaining episodes, since they're now both aware of each other's feelings. P'Aof, the tropes are in your hands, play them well! P.s. I'd thought the breakfast jam tube was a product tie-in placement. So...I was wrong? P.p.s. Was the "สายตาโกหกไม่ได้" an easter egg from P'Aof? ไม่ใช่!!! It should be สายตาโกหกไม่เป็น! P.p.p.s Thanks P'Noom for the subs as always! Maybe P'Noth or P'Jo can do it next time ^^

Thanks to you guys, I re-saw each of 9 eps of 1000 Stars, then watched your Reaction to unsubbed ep, then watched the Best: Recap of each. Bad Buddy Ep 5 got me going...I Never watched a Reaction/Recap of anything until this episode...and then watched all from ep 1 of BB. Aside from the empowerment from you, the director (writer/producer) onsite is like, well, Hitchcock or Johnnie To or Truffaut, et.al., responding to a critique premiere work and analysis...and sharp, good analysis (well, sometimes). And THEN telling of the reality of filming choices which I find to be the most interesting, and rather beautiful, Sharing.

First of all, let me just say Khàawp khun kha, thank you for this reaction video.. 🙏🏻 waiting for this is so worth it.. 😊 Honestly, this episode made me feel lots of emotions all all the same time.. It felt like I was riding a roller-coaster ride 🎢.. This episode was so well-thought off that's why it was "perfect". I believe that all the scenes here were equally important since it was necessary to build up the feelings in the legendary roof scene. I especially loved the fight scene between Pat, Wai, and Pran. It was executed flawlessly. Of course who would forget the legendary roof scene? The kiss portrayed different emotions all at the same time.. love, longingness, sadness, fear, expectations, freedom, etc. It was such a meaningful scene that it felt surreal.. So I feel that the rooftop location adds meaning to the kiss-- their love is above the world that they live in. Their world is filled with so much hate and anger, their love is like 'the sun' and they are 'the East'.
Again, after the fight, when Pran stands and Pat is on the ground, their positions (one is high, one is low) also adds meaning to their relationship. Pat is starting to climb up to reach Pran's level in their relationship so they can both be together.
I seriously feel a lot for this series. Reminds me why I love literature so much.

I have no words that is how speechless I am with this series. The chemistry between the characters, the storyline, the way p'aof portray the story is just so good idk what to say. For me this episode was such a good twist that I never expected and I like it so much. The past 4 episodes we could see pat and pran's relationship with each other and how their surroundings (families and friends) influence their relationship. We could also see pran's pov of what he felt and all the jealousy he had to endure for the past years because he thought him and pat will never be together due to their families relationship + pat's feelings towards him were just as friends, so he stepped back due to fear of getting hurt, parents judgement etc. But in this episode we could see the complete opposite thing happened with pat. Instead of backing down he confronted his feelings, he only focused on that and prioritize his feelings first before all the problems they might face if they do end up together in the future. This episode made us see more of the differences between the two characters way of thinking and the way they portray their feelings. I was so immersed in the story, by the way ohm and naon acted made me felt like I was in their position. I could feel all the emotions stacked up between those two, the desperation, the need and want for each other. Moreover, the build up before the kiss scene is amazing. I could feel pat's hesitation, whether he should confess or not and I could see pran's frustration of pat's unclear actions towards him ( as pat literally just told pran he likes ink so obv he was like "tf this mf doing with my feelings" ) but once pat took a step and got closer you could see pran tensed as he slightly step back. When pat got closer and they kissed, you could see pat was leading the kiss and pran was overwhelmed but as soon as pat let go and pran looked into pat's eyes, he finally let go all his pent up feelings towards pat + his worries and just go with his feelings for once without caring about the consequences just this once. During the kiss, we could feel all the raw emotions and it was so touching. After the kiss, again we can see the contrast between the two characters. Pat was happy since he finally confirmed his feelings toward pran and pran feelings towards him and he was happy they are both on the same page. However for pran it was bittersweet. He never expected him and pat would be a reality so it felt like a dream. A dream he knew he has to wake up from no matter how happy he is. He knew they can't be together, he knew it's gonna be hard and he don't want to get hurt, again. Pran is scared, overwhelmed by all his emotions leading to him breaking down after the kiss and he left without a word. Again, this is what I felt as I watched the series and my analysis. I am just so amazed by p'aof directing + ohmnanon amazing acting. Idk how ohm and nanon conveyed all those feelings. Kudos, to everyone for making me cry like a bitch, I am waiting eagerly to see how the next episode is gonna be!!
You took the words right out of my mouth! Pat was living in the present while Pran was already thinking about the future. And when Pat saw his face you can see the moment bis heart drops as he also realizes that it won't be easy for them. Their acting was so phenomenal this episode! And the fight scene before. Where Pat was jealous and Pran was confused by his behavior! I'm looking forward to the rest of this show. Definitely the best bl this year in my opinion! Stuff like this makes me want to be a director or something similar where I can make people feel raw emotions. That I still have to figure out for myself 😅

Having seen some other discussions, I think the kiss scene was really poignant and powerful especially because everything has been leading up to this moment. If we'd gotten an 'I like you" confession or anything like that, it wouldn't have been genuine or believable at all given the years of repressed feelings the 2 characters have held in for years. Thank you P'Aof and the cast for this wonderful series to brighten up my Friday evenings, and I'm definitely looking forward to P'Jo and P'Aof's works in 2022 as well! :)

Just dropping into appreciate your hard work P'Aof. You did a marvelous job creating Bad Buddy. Hands down the best BL of this year. It was the smartest decision to pair up OhmNan for this series. Their chemistry is just fire. They compliment each other so damn well.
This show is gaining more and more international fans and we are happy that even these reaction videos are getting actively subbed. It's a great way to expand your audience as we like to watch not just the series but also get to know your thoughts and reviews. The whole cast is amazing and we're still halfway through the story though it has already gone beyond our expectations. I will miss this series badly once it's over.
The whole Bad Buddy production team has worked hard and as you can see through the fans it's already paying off. Cast and crew deserve the spotlight! Hope P'Aof can bag several awards for this next year. A cinematic storytelling with a brilliant young cast! I hope Ohm and Nanon get more challenging roles to expand their careers, and after seeing next year's projects I'm happy that they have already started doing that. Jimmy is also making headline for a newbie actor, he got skills off and on screen too!
Once again, thank you P'Aof for giving us this brilliant drama this year, you have done a splendid job, and also this would go down as one of the most memorable BLs in the history of BLs! I binged through this in two days. I’ve always wanted to see a “peer review” sort of reaction since I’m always curious if others also noticed what I noticed. If they’d react the same way, be moved the same way, get frustrated the same way and also to get a different perspective on things that I may have missed. The fact that P’Aof is in it is an added bonus because we get a directors commentary!
P’Aof did fantastic with this episode and I’m so grateful on how he chose to convey the emotional journey Ohm had and how raw some of the scenes were. Having watched the bts as well as hearing him speak on how he guided the scene between Wai, Pat and Pran has made me appreciate the effort he put into it. Thank you!
This episode was one of the best in my opinion. The rooftop scene I’ve watched and rewatched just to catch every micro expression and analyze every emotion they were going through. From anger, to confusion to relief to despair… I still can’t believe how capable these boys are. Both boys performed wonderfully, but I have to admit that Ohm’s “no..” to Nanon’s “do you want us to be friends?” lives rent free in my head. RENT FREE! OMG!

That's how good the shift in point of view was. We've been seeing Wai around Pran for 4 episodes and not one of thought that Wai had feelings for Pran. That's because we were watching Wai from Pran's view. Then suddenly we see this episode from Pat's view and so many of us start to question if Wai has feelings for Pran. We're seeing what Pat is seeing. In episode 5 Wai seemed like a cocky asshole and Korn seemed okay all of a sudden. That's the brilliance of the story telling is in this show. The shift in point of views of main characters is very strategically executed.

Good job to the director P'aof. Its true. This is another dimension for BLs. The kiss is sensual but not sexual. Emotion wins coz thats what the character wants the audience to feel. The first kiss of 2 people trying to keep their feelings. Emotion in the kiss exploded! Perfect!

For this episode I agree with P'Jo that the every scene in this episode was perfect. Absolutely nothing felt extra or out of place. While the kiss was the most memorable scene for me, the concert performance and the fight scene were also extremely well done. I loved how, with minimum dialogues, they were able to express so many emotions.
P'Aof said that next episode will be playing with some tropes so I'm excited to see how it goes.

Also, I feel like hanging out with friends when I watch your Reactions and Recaps.
I read a lot of comments and reviews about this episode but none told about how wonderfull the soundtrack is in the final sequence, but also in the whole episode. unfortunely P'Aof didn't make any comment about the soundtrack. I'm a lot curious about how it came to be that way, if the director himself asked any musician composer to compose the soundtrack specifically for that sequence?
The soundtrack was so perfect, matched so perfectly the characters feelings. For me whoever worked into this deserves a lot of credits

Maybe to get my personal boohoos out first.
Like P'Jack, I found it quite abrupt to start the Freshy Day scene with just the final note of the song Pat's band played. Might be a smooth transition if we at last hear the last few chords?
Also, personally speaking, I found Pat's sudden change in attitude towards Pran between scenes a little confusing. Between the scene at the Architect faculty where Pat brought Pran the thumbdrive, and the next time we see them in one scene at the music store, Pat seemed like a changed person. In the former, he was jovially teasing Pran about his scent. And the next thing we know, he's all awkward around Pran (before he did the mental love indicator checklist). Lack of scene continuity?
Apart from these minor points, I loved EP 5!
Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to like EP 5 so much because the trailer for EP 5 just screamed drama tropes to me. Yet P'Aof managed to spring surprises just by reconfiguring the order of events. Like P'Jo said, it was like a rollercoaster ride - we know the twists and turns, the climb and the plunge, but we just don't know when. Throw in good acting from the leads, and voilà! Magic!
For example, instead of the usual drama plot of Pat being rejected by Ink and then being guided by Ink to realise his true feelings, we have Pat figuring out his feelings BEFORE the 'confession'. With this, the 'confession' changed into closure to Pat's high school crush. Plus, we escape the possibility that Pran's just a substitute. Brilliant!
I also love the slow reveal of their past through flashbacks, like pieces of a jigsaw slowly being pieced together. Since the first time we were shown how Pran's mom turned up at the Christmas concert, I had this nagging feeling that the reason why she made Pran change school was because she found out about his feelings for Pat. That would explain why Pran's first reaction on seeing his mom was to turn to look at Pat. It can't be that his mom had only just found out they were in the same school/class, since they've been comparing grades and awards since forever. Besides, Pran has the habit of sketching memorable moments in his sketchbook, so his mom might have stumbled onto something back then. This would tie back to Pran's look of despair after the kiss. I hope we'll find out why in later episodes.
The highlight of the entire episode must be the final scene. I wasn't expecting a kiss at EP 5!! I mean, in ATOTS we got it at EP 10.....For me, that scene shone not because of the kiss, but because of everything before and after the kiss.
That whole scene was written so beautifully and there's so much details to take in. I saw new things even after watching it thrice. Five things I loved about the scene, apart from the beautiful skyline as backdrop:
1) The lead-in to the roof-top scene was well placed. It brought the emotions to a high point which laid ground for the confrontation at the roof-top where the leads could release their pent up emotions. Good acting from all three actors! I felt the anger even through the screen.
2) How refreshing it is to have a male lead who's not wishy washy, who knows what he wants and goes for it. Once he confirmed his feelings, Pat faced it directly and confessed! I'd thought Pat to be too narcissistic, too confident that Pran returned his feelings. But perhaps he had figured out Pran's feelings upon hearing him say "Stop acting this way towards me". This echoed the lyrics of their song about secret crush, and maybe things finally clicked in Pat's mind.
3) All along we've been shown two very strong-minded male leads. Equally strong, equally proud, equally competitive. Yet in this scene, for the first time, they showed each other their vulnerabilities. They opened their hearts towards each other. I'd thought it was Pran who teared first, but after watching it again, it was Pat who first teared! Like P'Noom said, it was such layered acting from actors, and throughout this scene, we see them reacting to each other's lines via body language and expressions. Perhaps it also helped that this was the final day of filming. It seems that P'Aof tends to put the filming for heavily emotional scenes to the end? Perhaps to leverage on the natural emotions of the cast?
4) On third time watching, I realised that after Pat answered "No", both Pat and Pran took a step towards each other. I was too struck dumbfounded by his reply to watch properly the first time. (My mind went blank!!). Perhaps it would help if we were shown a long or medium shot of this instead of a close-up shot so it'll be more obvious. I like this!!! That they're equals!! It's a mutual decision to step towards each other! And then they kissed, mirroring the fist bumps from EP 1 - Pat reaching out to Pran with a crazy idea, and Pran accepting the idea despite his mind telling him it's impossible.
5) The contrast in their emotional states when they pulled away was striking. We have Pat smiling blissfully vs Pran sobbing in distraught. Then Pran walks away, leaving Pran alone as reality sinks in.
"O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?"
I guess this will become the main theme for the remaining episodes, since they're now both aware of each other's feelings.
P'Aof, the tropes are in your hands, play them well!
P.s. I'd thought the breakfast jam tube was a product tie-in placement. So...I was wrong?
P.p.s. Was the "สายตาโกหกไม่ได้" an easter egg from P'Aof? ไม่ใช่!!! It should be สายตาโกหกไม่เป็น!

All scenes were so good, my fave was the fight scne for sure. For the kiss scene at the rooftop, that replaced DBK’s kiss scene as GMMTV’s best kiss, for me. Great execution, looks realistic. One thing I noticed weird was when Pran put the milk on the bread, it was messy and so unlike him.. the team really did great this episode. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks to you guys, I re-saw each of 9 eps of 1000 Stars, then watched your Reaction to unsubbed ep, then watched the Best: Recap of each. Bad Buddy Ep 5 got me going...I Never watched a Reaction/Recap of anything until this episode...and then watched all from ep 1 of BB.
Aside from the empowerment from you, the director (writer/producer) onsite is like, well, Hitchcock or Johnnie To or Truffaut, et.al., responding to a critique premiere work and analysis...and sharp, good analysis (well, sometimes). And THEN telling of the reality of filming choices which I find to be the most interesting, and rather beautiful, Sharing.
I really like this series so much! I hope there is eng subs on this recap soon, but no rush!

Honestly, this episode made me feel lots of emotions all all the same time.. It felt like I was riding a roller-coaster ride 🎢.. This episode was so well-thought off that's why it was "perfect".
I believe that all the scenes here were equally important since it was necessary to build up the feelings in the legendary roof scene. I especially loved the fight scene between Pat, Wai, and Pran. It was executed flawlessly.
Of course who would forget the legendary roof scene? The kiss portrayed different emotions all at the same time.. love, longingness, sadness, fear, expectations, freedom, etc. It was such a meaningful scene that it felt surreal..
Kudos to you P'Oaf because you gave us another legendary masterpiece and hats off to the screenwriter/s for creating this wonderful scene..
