Can't help it, this has to be said. Ohm looked so good and glorious in his all white outfit! I noticed how he intently listens to whoever speaks and he also maintains eye contact. While Nanon has expressive eyes, Ohm got seductive eyes in my opinion lol. It's hard to maintain eye contact with him because it's like he's seducing or flirting with you effortless gosh 😩
Makes sense 😂 all of them looked rather nervous than their usual behaviour HAHAHA
I mean...who would be able to sit still and calm when Ohm is right there?😭
thisssssssss. ohm exudes a calm confidence that’s very attractive, and he makes you know it when as he looks you in the eye while you talk and is very present and in the moment, not daydreaming elsewhere. and you’re right the other guests are a little more well-behaved because of that. I wish I was that mature and put together few years ago hahha

@@zacharycohen9985 he's such a good listener and he's also really sensitive. He always check other people's reaction to see how they would react in a particular scene. He's that type of friend that you can rely on and share random or some serious matter without getting judged. I agree with P'Aof that Ohm doesn't realize it himself but just like Pat, he's also the type of person who would compromise for the sake of everyone aww.

Honestly I'm glad that Ohm asked that question about Pran having to be the one apologizing and chasing Wai. I really didn't understand it, like why would be Pran the one saying sorry when he was the victim of something (being outed by his bestfriend) but after the explanation of P'Jack I understand it. Pran is like that, someone that will feel guilty. I get it. Maybe is because I can relate to Pat more that I didn't understand Pran's actions fully a 100%. Pran is a saint after all.

It's like this: however shitty and disproportionate Wai's REaction was, it was *in reaction to* something that Pran did in the first place, and it doesn't take a saint to feel guilty about it. Pran is just mature.
What I would've liked is for them to address the fact that Wai never actually apologizes for doing such a shitty and disproportionate thing... to *both* of them.
@@Melethasgar : Wai didn't do anything bad to them (Ohm & Nanon) he see Pat as an enemy from the start and when he found out that the leader Pran they looking up too is now inlove with their enemy makes him mad, in the first place Pran should have told them that they have something with Pan, Wai even ask Pran in episode 6 if theres something between them but Pran denies it. Wai is right when he says that it's not Pran to conclude if they will be in favour or not if they have something with Pat.

@@Melethasgar there’s a big time gap between when the curtain fell and the last night of the performance. This is based on my own observation and how I look at it:
1) Only Wai heard Pran say that he is Pat’s boyfriend. Wai was in the sound booth with the headphones. No one else in the theatre heard the words spoken.
2) when the curtain fell, audience in the theatre could have either thought a) WTH are they doing? Are they rehearsing/goofing off again. Toto has witnessed them rehearsed and play around on stage before: b) Pat/Pran’s friends are shocked to even think “sh*t they’re still close” when they are supposed to be enemies (they lied to us) but at the same time, the friends knew that Pat/Pran had to work together on the play.
3) We don’t know what Pat/Pran said to the people in the auditorium at that time. They could have just said “we’re goofing off” to those that do not matter. But to their friends, they might have said the truth privately. Let’s be real, if it was announced to the entire campus that they were a couple at that time, I think Pran’s mother dearest would find out faster than lighting.

i'm both surprised and not surprised that k'Ohm is that kind of dedicated on how he can better deliver/present his role in a project.
In all of Ohm's projects that i've watched, i really admire his acting.
It always felt geniune, natural, no awkwardness to spot unlike some actors.
Like... how Ohm's real self be used to bring out the character's role, what the story's own intention is, communicating with the director, etc...
honestly, i was not optimistic with OhmNanon chemistry at first.
i am just there to watch Ohm deliver his part well since he has experiences in BLs.
i'm also curious how will Nanon deliver his part too since this is his 1st BL.
and i have always have this impression that Nanon is something tough, cool, bad-ass, etc... but damn.

I have to say I'm really impressed by Ohm after hearing him explain the way he works; all the preparation at the beginning of the new project and during filming etc. He just seems so professional and focused, both him and Nanon actually. They don't joke around when it comes to work. And other thing that made me a little emotional because I don't have that kind of friend/ person in my life: the way Ohm speaks about Nanon, notices small details about him and takes care of him is heartwarming. (AND thank you so much for the subtitles, I'm happy I somehow discovered your channel a few days ago. Loving your reactions and recaps, did watch all of them😄 Bad Buddy has become one of my fave series of all time, there I said it🙈😄)
It's just me or the guy with the pink t-shirt, the one beside P'Aof (I don't remember his name) was so shy the whole episode? Lol it's so cute to see him ☺ he barely looked ay Ohm, it's like he was intimidated by Ohm. In the previous episode he was talking and joking around with Nanon all the time, but in this episode he behaved different, it's the kind of behavior a person has when they see their crush hahaha sooo adorable 🙈🙈😊🥺😍

Turning the ordinary and making it extraordinary. Honestly, P'Aof is probably my favourite Thai drama series director! The hot pot scene where the siblings/friends chatted and shared an intimate family moment while very casually tearing down so many toxic BL tropes...it's groundbreaking! Thank you so much for discussing that scene in this recap video. Slowly, but hopefully heading in the right direction, BL series will be something that LGBTQ+ audiences can relate with, and audiences outside the community can learn to understand where we are coming from. Boundaries will be broken down. Bravo!!
The fact I like about this journey of watching BBS is that ppl who created and portrayed the characters explain about background and inner feelings. Like I love how Ohm's Shi was his frustration at Pran giving in to Wai easily. I could see how he is so in touch with his character. And also loved how PAof explained things about Wai which would have been missed due to 12 episode format of the story. In fact if anyone watches this series in future, I would ask them to see Reaction+Recap, so that they can enjoy the scenes to the fullest
Nah, any story can be fully told in less than 2 hours. It's not that they don't have enough episodes to tell it; it's all about choosing which parts they either drag or rush through.
That said, most of what P'Aof explained was included in the series. The clues just weren't obvious-as opposed to Hollywood movies, where they spoon-feed the plot to the audience.
@@Melethasgar yes I agree with that its how PAof chose to draft the flow. He chose to give more Pat Pran moments than showing the side story or in depth feelings of side characters. But I feel as a viewer, I really needed that justification PAof and PJack gave for Wai and Pran's forgiving Wai easily. Atleast for me. It gave me a better perspective of what Pran might have felt "Shit i got exposed of my lies in front of my best friend whom I have fooled multiple times". And its not just this episode. I have been following both series and recaps from channel since Ep1. So there are many things I feel it becomes more enjoyable once creators or actors explain to us the side story or stories on set. Recently one of hit English series also did the same where creators reacts to episode. But its just my point of view.

Best boy Ohm asking the right questions about Pran asking forgiveness from Wai instead of vice-versa. I still think it's wrong, and that what Wai did was unforgivable, no matter how close they were in the previous three years.
it's not unforgivable when we take the whole relationship between pran and wai into account, but it's still incredible bad. being outted when we aren't read is one of the biggest fear for us. but in that scene wai din't plan to out them, didn't plan to say "look, they are gay", they plan to show to architecture people that pran was dating an enemy, it wasn't about them being both guys because we all know wai is ok with pran dating a guy (as shown in ep 2), his problem was with pat. he would feel betrayed and fooled since he fought pat in pran's behalf before, he was bullied by pat before and he felt before that there was something going on between them. so he was angry for this, he wanted to show that pran chose the enemies side even knowing his historic with wai (who was his best friend). it's the same feeling of you discovering your best friend, the person you trust the most, is dating that one person who bullies you. i would feel angry too and would probably do worse than this. i get that many people only see one point of view, normally the main character pov, but if you could really feel the other characters, you would understand how well it was written because it's super realistic. it's not black and white, every character in here is gray (even our walking green flag, pat).
Ohm is great, he made me so proud for asking what most of us think.

I'm like Ohm feeling frustrated about why Pran is not angry and is the one trying to reconcile with Wai 😂 but listening to p'aof interpretation I can now see another side of it.
Like p'aof said, all the characters don't have to be perfect. If they're perfect then it's not realistic.
Watching it as an outsider we see one side of the story and we interpret it with how we would feel. But Pran, although is a character in story, is representing someone different from us, so how he feels toward Wai is different from us too.
I love listening to all the bits and pieces behind the creation of the series 🥺 I never got to understand any series in depth like this.

This is why I love Ohm and Nanon especially when they talk about work and acting because we can see their dedication in their field. Aside from that, I could really listen to Ohm whole day because I love the way he talk, the way he share his opinion in clean way and we could learn something from him and also his opinion of Wai, we can clearly see him as Pat the reality because he also doesnt understand why Wai do that and also cares for Pran but also doesnt understand Pran's feelings towards Wai like hello, we arent mind readers or heart readers and we only understand our own point of view. So no wonder of his opinion.
What Wai did to PatPran is bad. YES. But we all really forget that we are also humans and we tend to do impulsive things because of anger and feeling of betray that causes bad result. Let's be honest, we are also like that in reality like we do bad things because we cant stop our anger and "victim" mindset that results of hurting others. I'm glad that this series able to portray people like Wai and telling us that what he did is not okay and we could learn something like from that so that we dont do it to others and realize that "oh no what I did is like what Wai did in BBS. I did a bad thing." He may not directly apologize to PatPran but atleast he realize that Pat is change (the Pat the bully is gone and ready to sacrifice himself for the sake of his love.) and he felt bad about what he did to both. Lets not forget that Engineering gang also didnt even apologize to Wai directly but when Pat saw the bullying of other students to Wai he also feel bad and guilty of what they did back then that's why he help Wai. This is kind of character development I love like they let the characters pinpoint their mistakes and also takes time to change unlike others that they "magically" change overnight 😂
I really love this series so much because aside from lovestory, I learn so much from friends, feelings and being human how much more to the incoming eps about parents. I am so weak when it comes to family so I have to ready lots of tissue 😂
I really thank you P'Aof for this series and I tell you P', I hope read this. P' Aof, you did very good job on delivering your inner feelings and message to us audience. We learn lots of things because of your art. Thank you P'Aof 🙏♥️

When Ohm's watching his scene with Nanon, it seems like Ohm's missing Nanon a lot because they work in separated series now.

Ohm is simple and I mean it in the best way possible.He has an amazing approach to life which I find extremely admirable and I am a little bit envious.
He definitely did not disappoint me. The only 4 actors that I truly find genuine and kind:Nanon (amazing and deep thinker) Gun (sweetest and strongest pie) Tay (genuine and unchanged) and Ohm (Simple and easy going).
I just cant stand ohm’s handsomeness. He is so so soooo handsome🤭🤭😭😭😭😭

เราชอบความรู้สึกและความสัมพันธ์ของโอมและนนนมากๆ โดยเฉพาะโอมที่แมนๆแสดงออกอย่างชัดเจนว่าชอบคือชอบ รักคือรัก แต่นนนดูน่าจะเป็นคนที่ไม่กล้าแสดงความรู้สึกออกมาสักเท่าไหร่ จากที่ติดตามในทวิต ยิ่งรู้จักยิ่งรักทั้ง 2 คนมากเลยตอนนี้ จะคอยติดตามเป็นกำลังใจให้ทั้ง 2 คนตลอดเลย
คิดเหมือนกัน แล้วพึ่งมาเห็นในติ๊กต๊อกที่โอมจัดทรงผมให้ นนน แล้วเห็นเหมือน นนน ร้องไห้ นี่ยังคิดเลยว่า โอมน่าจะบอกความรู้สึกที่มีต่อนนน แล้วที่ร้องไห้นั้นอาจจะประมาณความรู้สึกตรงกัน แล้วก็ความกลัวในสิ่งที่จะเกิด นนนอาจจะประมาณว่าไม่เปิดแต่ก็ไม่ปิด โอมเปิดเผยได้นนนจะเงียบเอง (จะเห็นว่าสตร.โอมจะมีแต่งาน ครอบครัว และนนน เท่านั้นเลย) มโนล้วน (แต่ในความมโนนั้นอาจจะเป็นความจริงด้วย)

Ep.9 is an 'Ohm' episode. It is really his time to flaunt his acting skills to the fullest - from cute moments with Nanon to being the hero when Wai was being bullied. I think 'Pat' was basically created with Ohm as the model in the writer's mind. No other actor suits best for this character rather than Ohm. It was tailor made for him. And of course like Nanon as Pran, Ohm also gives justice to his role. He really shines especially in confrontation scenes where intense acting is required. As P'Aof always says, both Ohm and Nanon do not waste their shots in every scene. They always try to give their best for one take only as much as they could. And for these two bright actors, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏!
We'll wait for another 7 days to be able to watch Ep.10, for this Friday, we'll take a break from watching BBS as we enjoy this New Year celebrating with our families. It is a cut from our weekly routine but it makes us more eager and excited to look forward for the coming of 2022. A prayer for better days ahead for each one of us and a hope for you P's to add soon the English sub for this recap. We'll surely rewatch this video as we wait for the next BBS Ep.10.

That’s the beauty of watching the recap, you learned so much from behind the camera, how the actor and the director get to the point where it resulted in what we saw finally on tv, I know we have behind the scenes clip, but those are more like Easter eggs, we won’t fully know what the actors are thinking and how are they communicating during filming, by having the actor come and join the recap, we have a deeper view and understanding of the work and how the actors portrays the character, it will help us better understand the future episodes, so thank you!!

My fave part would be the one when Pat said he can post in socmed that he was dumped. And then pran stopped him and held hands underneath. Pat might not realized it but he's so whipped to Pran. As in!
Being best friends for years doesn't give a right to Wai to out his friend even if Pran kept a secret, which btw he kept for a reason. He didn't just out him but made Pran's other friends turn againts him too and because he made a mess, Pat got shot. But I guess he is the good guy for doing the bare minimum and gave the cctv footage to Pran. Pran never even got an apology even though Wai knew how hard it is for Pran to openly be with Pat. I think most people forgot the bar scene where Pran indirectly confesses to Wai in episode 8. He knew how his best friend feels yet instead of waiting for his confession or asking him openly, he backstabbed Pran while smirking. But if we are going for the nobody's perfect theme, then let Wai redeem himself, instead Pran had to do it and Pat needed Wai's help. Wai was the hero of the episode. To me, it is twisted and I am glad Ohm brought the issue up.

So far, both Ohm and Nanon are the 2 best Thai actors in their generation. They know-how to Peak and deliver genuinely and realistic with the sense of responsibility and accountability as an actor to their craft thru their co-workers and people surround them. Also good job for the Director, for value and showcasing the deep emotion/feeling of the actors. More power to Bad Buddy and hope for season 2. This is by far a Best Quality of Thai BL series of all time.
Every characters decision in this series were designed for that particular character, the characters stay true to their personality, not only to create drama, that's why this series really close to our heart because they often put us in the characters shoes, with great directing and great acting, it all delivered very well.
Can't wait! Excited for Ohm's reaction while watching the episode. It's a pity P'Jo wasn't there! I bet it would be chaotic if he was there lol. I hope Ohm and Nanon can come back to react again with the whole gang!

You can see how seriously Ohm takes his job and how dedicated he is. He listens so intently and answers with a lot of sincerity. It was lovely hearing about his preparation process and I must say that hearing that he feels the character instead of using lots of techniques really makes sense and I think that’s why his acting is so real. I also really liked watching everyone ask him questions- it’s different from watching an interviewer because everyone on this channel works in this industry directly - so I really liked the questions they asked and the fact that Ohm had lots of time to give a detailed answer. Thank you for bringing Ohm here to react! I can tell that he's a reflective actor who keeps improving, and is an inspiration for people who wants to contribute to the arts.
It's also nice to look at Pat's POV during the curtain-drop scene. Ohm is very insightful for his age.
I also learned that the movie critics in Thailand are very meticulous! Gosh! Salute to all the brave souls who made and has been and still are making movies!
I'm a bit saddened that I can't fully appreciate the dialogues in this EP because I'm not familiar with the Thai culture. But your recap always manage to help me bridge the gap a little. I really appreciate it.
I watch movies and dramas based on the director -- and I must say, P'Aof has become one of my favorite for Thai shows, and a stamp of quality.
I have a feeling that the novel showed the truth behind the couple as 'behind the scenes' but the series showed the truth behind the friends and family 'behind the scenes'.
Kinda like telling the audience that things are not as bad as it seems--communication is still the key, and have faith in the people who love you to support your decisions.
