Not exactly a brand new video, but it aged well! ;-) Just kidding, the footage is from last autumn and we've never had this direction of travel on this route, ever. It was sitting there, ready to be shown, so here you go, I hope you like it! As always, more videos will come in the future, but finding time to work on them is quite hard right now. I apologize and promise you great new material coming soon!
@@zoqaeski That is the main reason I stopped with the weekly schedule. I always had quality in mind, but it was not always easy to make something that really satisfies myself with that tight schedule.
@@slycat1939 I've never been gone! ;-) Just laid back a bit, but I am working on the channel and new content again. You can expect brand new and interesting stuff in the next weeks and months!
This is great, I am from Australia and had the privilege of living in Feldmeilen for two years back in 2006-2008 when I was a young boy. This brings back many great memories of zipping along the Zurichsee into the city. And I'm envious that the S16 now has the "new" Siemens DTZ (it was the newest, flashiest trainset at the time when I was living there), I had to put up with the old single decker for most of the time haha! Thanks for making this video :)

Another great cab ride. So many thanks to you. Please, no need to apologise - your job comes first. We know there are some great cab rides to come!! A question if I may. Towards the exit of Kaferbergtunnel there were four signals on the roof that were close together. Why are they so close together at this location? Are they repeaters? My best wishes as always 👍🏼
Correct, those are distant signal repeaters. Orientation is pretty hard in a tunnel. These repeaters allow us to see if the home signal is still red, so we won't bother accelerating, or if it has turned green in the meantime, allowing us to speed up again.
Yet another top class railway video from Railway Emotions. Really well made. One question pops into mind, how much longer would this particular video be if there were no transition cuts at the stations? The cuts are very smooth and do not disturb the overall experience at all.
The trip takes 35min in real time. Since it would be quite boring to watch the train in standstill, I always cut down the stops. I do think that the majority of my viewers prefers that over an uncut video.
Railway Emotions, I prefer it this way too. It is more fun to watch the train moving. Here is another thought: Would it not be possible to add a quick outside view of the train taken from the platform before the journey begins as this would give an idea of what kind of vehicle we are traveling with?
I have done that on a few videos already and aim to do it on more of them. Unfortunately, it is not always possible. A safe and punctual train travel is above everything. If the train is prepared and everything is set, I carry on with the video. The main goal is a clear windshield and a perfect alignment of the camera. And if after all that there's still time left, a little bonus may be added. I understand it makes the video feel more interesting and attractive.
Nice video. However there were too many stoppages on the way. Anyway, am looking forward to seeing your latest uploaded videos. One is being premiered on 19 April, right?
@@AndreiTupolev That is why we should have more freight train cab rides. It is more convenient then passenger trains as they don't stop at any station at all.
08/06/2020 : I have watched and enjoyed many of your videos, especially pleasing are the left hand running and English sub-titles! Ich sprache ein klein Deutsch aber est ist nicht gut fur alles ihnen eisenbahn data! One thing I am intrigued by and that is the signs showing the letter 'H'. I have noticed it on a house shaped board at the end of a platform in another of your videos and in that context it seems to mean 'Halt'. However, in other videos 'H' also appears on rectangular boards and once on an oval board (with a thicker font on the oval board) along the tracks well away from any stations or junctions, so 'Halt' has no logic in those locations. Bitte, was ist 'H' und bitte, please reply in English ! Danke.
It shows that a small stop (in contrast to a proper train station with signals and switches) follows in stopping distance. The H stands for "Haltestelle" in German.

So very happy to see another video from you. I really have missed your videos. God bless take care.

Отличное видео!
Glad to see you again was missing your train rides, Hope all is well, All my best
ach elegancko good video like 60 👍👌💪🎇✨🎆
They do make a good sound, those Siemens units. The Stadler ones can sometimes make a bit of an irritating noise, as I recall
The Siemens units are very quiet inside, while the Stadler ones have a much more noticable (and sometimes very noisy) sound inside.

Well, the train is in movement and we're a country full of tunnels, so I prefer to leave them as is. Skipping shouldn't be too hard on TH-cam ;-)

Schönes Video, könntest du als nächstes die S17 Dietikon - Wohlen und die S14 Menziken - Aarau - Schöftland machen???

Correct! With much less stops...
too many stoppages? You mean stations? Yes, it's inconvenient when you have to do that isn't it. Why do people insist on wanting to get on trains?

Richtig, S2 und S16 sind am Flughafen verknüpft. Die Linie ändert dort jeweils.

Are you planning to do all Zurich S Bahn lines operated by CFF?
I try to get as many lines on video as I can, including long distance services and cargo. You can expect many more videos in the future.
well most of them are cff but he can do like SOB or RHB too but instead as his time he needs todo* more CFF stuff as like SOB or RHB you understand?
