As far as the lube as primer goes, the main thing that will likely tell whether it will work or not is the chemistry behind it. There are water, oil, and silicone based foundations, and silicone and water based lubes. If you use a silicone-based lube with a water-based foundation, it'll separate. If you use two products with the same base, they'll blend nicely. This is also why sometimes your foundation and primer separate, no matter what you do, but other people seem to love it. I hope that helps. :)
Lube is safe, it’s technically less of a chemical compound then most makeups. Makeup has harsh chemicals, additives like metals and talc. Because lube goes internally it has to be extraordinarily body safe.

I felt pure terror when you said you dont know if you're allergic while applying it. 😭😭 I found out I was allergic to latex condoms and silicone based lubes the hard way.... You thought having an allergic reaction on your skin is bad, imagine your entire who-ha. 😭😭
The color-changing blush reacts to the heat from your skin which is why it didn't change nearly as quickly on your hand as it did on your warm cheeks. If you put it on your lips, for example, it would get super pink SUPER fast. :) It's the same idea as the blue lipstick one! Heat-activated.
Just realized that the little emojis that popped up on the phone during the transitions from product to product represent what the product is!! Like for the highlighter, it was a star. And for the blush, it takes time to color change and the emoji was a green hour glass timer, and the same for every other product!! So clever Mia!!!! 😊

Fun fact before primers the NYX jumbo crayon in “milk" was very popular back in late 2000s it was used a eye primer and highlighter for the brows. I remember using it all the time when in high school and I loved Japanese fashion “Gyaru” and they used it a lot.
I never understood this, I had the Milk jumbo pencil and the texture of it was so thick and heavy that it was a terrible eyeshadow primer. I could never understand how it was working for people in videos

The color changing blush works because of a pigment (red 27, i believe) that is clear in the product until it reacts with the moisture in your skin and turns pink/red, with the shade depending on the pH of your skin. You can test this rubbing a bit of vinegar, citric acid, or acid-based skincare on your skin, next to some water/baking soda, and then swatching the makeup on each section. Ive found that lower pHs gives a darker pink and higher pHs gives a brighter, almost neon pink (btw for the pigment, I've heard that the pigment is colorless in a waterless solution, and but ive also read that the pigment is colorless at a pH less than 2, so I'm not sure which it is)
Although I would never ever buy a product just based off of Mias opinion (simply because she is way too nice about bad products) these are still my favourite videos she does!

The color change effect is due to a certain colorant used which is activated when it comes in contact with a certain range of pHs. Everyone’s skin has a slightly diff pH so it will react slightly different on diff people. It doesn’t “change to your perfect shade” because …a makeup product isn’t intelligent. It’s just simple chemistry.

“I think how these color changing things work is that it changes a diff color based on your skin tone.” HHah umm, Mia, the product isn’t able to understand your skin tone. The color change effect is due to a certain colorant used which is activated when it comes in contact with a certain range of pHs. Everyone’s skin has a slightly diff pH so it will react slightly different on diff people. It doesn’t “change to your perfect shade” because …a makeup product isn’t intelligent. It’s just simple chemistry.
