Thank you for posting this. I like many was introduced to Hisaishi's wonderful music through ghibli films. Now, I can't get enough. I love the depth he gets out of simple arrangements like this piece and Sixth Station from Spirited Away. There is just something natural or geniune about his music that is not seen much today.
You. Just put it all into words for me. Joe Hisaishi has become to peak of music for me. I can barely expand on what you've said here and I know I'm doing a necro-assed reply but damn. Sixth Station is beautiful - and the suggestion Marie made is great too.
Thanks for letting me know! I have this piece of music but have been searching all this time to find which movie its from. Hisaishi's music is so moving
@DonMega187 Nobuo Uematsu and Joe Hisashi are great composers. I find them similarly good but they're not really the same I can tell the difference. lol I'm just saying this particular music sounds the same. Ya I agree, they are emotional, that's why their music can go with movies and games that describes the mood of the scene. Music is all about feelings pouring out. emotion = music
His music makes me nostalgic.

Is it just me or is the intro segment very similar to his own Sea of Blue? Amazing song nonetheless.
