But I'm Also A Caregiver - Memory Ball

This film aims to increase awareness of the 1.4 million young caregivers in Canada and especially those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease. Produced for Memory Ball 2015. Concept by Kathryn Fudurich with help from Carolyn Poirier. Project wouldn't have been possible without subjects in film: Emma McKay, Katie Johns, Shauna Mitton, and Claire Poirier.

Thank you. My husband was just diagnosed with Young-Onset Alzheimer's Disease at 51 and our 4 beautiful daughters are only ages 12, 14, 16 & 18. You are great examples of selfless love to them. My daughter's love their daddy so deeply it hurts so I'm sure they too will rise to the occasion of helping care for him as needed. I pray so.

I missed this first time around. It is SO moving and as well as being so sad about the sufferers of this terrible illness I am full of admiration for these incredible women
