    Never thought I would get excited about a lowered truck! Looking awesome! I would have really screwed up the interior frame paint. I would have been paranoid I was missing something and put the onion to it! with what you showed I would have had that stuff EVERYWHERE! lol

      Same here, I’m more into lifted trucks and lowered cars but I love watching fab work ether way. Hell if I had a hilux it’d be on 35”s with a gun mount for the .50 I want to be able to own and afford to shoot some day lol

      Not a fan of lowered trucks either, but I love watching his work no matter the project!

      @@austinniemela You got to do a FZJ80! Cummins swap?? i I know the prices have gone up but you can still find a 3x clean unmolested out there especially in your area. Will make for some great content and you will expand your views to the Lans cruiser audience. Keep up the hardwork!!

    Many years ago I helped a friend paint the frame of a boat trailer and for the enclosed area we put a shop vacuum on a hole on the front and the gentle air flow of the vacuum helped pull the spray paint into the inside of the frame. For the next one

    I’m a 4x4 guy but I am enjoying the build. Would love to see you go all the way with this one. I get the crusty theme outside but that engine bay is yelling at me to do the whole truck. Looking forward to the next video. 💯

    I found your channel a few weeks ago cause I have been contemplating a tdi swap in my hardbody. Then you took on this project, and it's so ironic cause I just finished up the same kind of build on my hardbody last year. Frame off. Powdercoated frame. Little notch. Painted my bay. Left the outside as is for now. Alot of similarities. I even used the eastwood internal frame spray lol. Sprayed a can of cavity wax in there too just for good measure

    While the rear end is nice, might I suggest hiem joints instead of bushings so that it can articulate from side to side.

  • @bobthebuilder6315
    @bobthebuilder6315 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You need to put heim joints on all the three link or you're going to break it when you articulate the rear axel . BTW looking great as always .

    Beautiful chassis work now you have to do the body up like factory new since you did up the chassis and suspension did up one 75 up last year wrecked it a lady pulled out of jack in the box in a toyota van right in front of me doing 40 mph slammed on the break with no were to go I cried have pictures Thank God I still have my mint 87 2wd with all the fixings that's going to be a beautiful truck when it's done hit me up if you ever decide to sell it 😀
