Yep... Depends on Software calibration... Actually TFTs are poor in colours compared to IPS LCD... But here you see how samsung did great job with F23's display
@@RGBTechGamer Speaking of Samsung phones with TFT screens, My new phone that my mom got me (a Galaxy A13 5G from AT&T) has one, and I thought it was an AMOLED due to the colors.

Actually the only difference I spotted is the amoled phones had deeper blacks.. But when it's other colors all phones 400ppi + are technically the same
The modern IPS and even the TFT screens hold their own very well. AMOLED still has the best blacks but IPS/TFT have other advantages. For instance, I think TFT/IPS have more accurate (non-black) colors and don't look over saturated. Also, TFT/IPS screens last much longer and don't have burn in. Of course, burn in probably doesn't matter much on phones since most people don't keep a phone long enough. But on a monitor/TV it can be a big deal.
Am I the only one who prefers LCD color reproduction over AMOLED? AMOLED red and green colors always feel way oversaturated and offensive to look at. Then again it has way better dark colors like blue and black. Also I wish phone manufacturers cared more about pwm frequencies, they are too low and hurt your eyes.
I feel like the Poco X3 is calibrated so well that it has amazing saturation across the board, white balance seems to be the best but it definitely gets crushed when it comes to blacks, still a pretty good display I'd say
TFT LCD: Natural, long lasting, energy efficient compared to IPS LCD. Cons: But more blue light emission, greyish blacks, poor viewing angles. IPS LCD: Same as TFT but better viewing angles, more colour accuracy(In general comparison similar quality TFT) Cons: uses more power for better viewing angles. More greyish than TFT, blue light. OLED: deep blacks, energy efficient (mainly dark colours), Vivid, less blue light Cons: slight yellow tint, oversaturated colours, burnin problems, relatively dull in day light It comes to personal preference, I prefer OLED at night, LCD at day time :)
Ips is best in brighter colours but bad in dark colours...amoled is good in brighter colours but fantastic in dark colours...so amoled is the winner overall

F23 has IPS screen. TFT refers to one of the layers, which AMOLED screen has as well. I noticed it when I was looking for a new smartphone. IPS screen has more toned, eye friendly colours. It suffers from back-light leek, though. AMOLED has better contrast and colours, but the latter looks oversaturated. They look too vivid. All in all, I bought Samsung A34 recently and after a few days I got used to it. Watching Dredd made me see details in the movie I didn't on IPS display.

I usually am not sensitive to most displays on smartphones whether it is a LCD or Amoled but this phone seems to have a very poor quality display, i think the model of the phone is a Samsung galaxy A03, the display looks very dry in color, it's very blueish and has hardly any color, it's like you r looking at a blueish white piece of paper and my eyes feel like i am being exposed to chopped onions whenever i use the phone, my head also hurts by the way. I used low quality LCD display phones before but never encountered such a problem so i think this LCD must be very poor in quality.
