Just got an xmr 570 last week. Absolutely love it, went through some pretty deep mud and not once did i feel like it would get stuck. Granted you can get anything stuck.

2018 1000 xmr and it's been great. I put aftermarket exhaust. Fuel controller. Dalton chutch kit and extreme belt . no problem 2 years my 1000 cam with winch
I was the lucky one to purchase this exact quad from the video.
I purchase it from a dealer in Ottawa ontario.
When I turned on the atv for the first time, the display came up as

Purchased a 570 base and put $900 I've got everything here with a better bumper for $2100 cheaper and still under warranty. This is for people who don't want to create they're own bang for the buck. Come on man 570 is the best bang for the buck either base or Xmr.
@Luke Z who said you have to use ITP Mega Mayhems? $170 each for a 28" tire that actually measures 26.5" tire but ok and they're not really that great. Thanks for proving the point though under $800 for sucky overrated tires. Add $180 for a bumper and youre still under $1000 for the same bike without a speed limiter. 🤷🏻♂️

I've got a 2017 base 570 - Elka front shocks, dalton primary spring and some 27" tires and its a beast. Great all arounder and not hard on axles/diffs/belts like the big bore bikes.
Elka makes some gorgeous shocks.
How did u get your hands on a 2917?
I have a renegade 570 which is basically the same thing as the outlander 570 except the renegade is lighter but the 570 motor has some really good power
I have 2017 canam outlander 570 XMR and I love it.. I do mostly trail riding and the aggressive tires don’t bother me.. biggest complaint is the suspension is terrible!! I upgraded to the fox podiums and it makes a world of difference before upgrading I was bottoming out of the smallest bumps even with the shocks on a tighter setting.. very happy with the wheeler overall

570 dont come with a wench from the factory so someone put that winch on, also its got synthetic winch rope that dont come stock

What? That winch didn’t even have a fair lead on it. My friend and I just bought 2020 XMR 850’s and they have steel cable winches on them not synthetic. I think this one has been changed for sure

The 570 has plenty of power. Any more and I don't quite know what else it could do that the 570 can't.

That would! We gave that one back to Yamaha Canada, but will see if we can get our hands on another.

Dirt Trax TV hopefully a 72” pro platform and some reliability updates but that would be sick to have variable version of the rs1 like the standard xp 1k and to see them move forward with live suspension on a sportsman or scrambler chassis

Unbelievable that Can Am would build a atv equipped with snorkels,rad relocate and mud tires and not throw in a winch. I will stick to my Grizzly though ,hard to beat Yamaha reliability .
Don's ATV Adventures I’ve got a 15 grizzly 700 and a 15 Xmr 650.
Grizzly way more comfortable and easier to ride and reliable. But when I wanna beat something up and slam through mud and water I’ll take the xmr.
Any news on a rumored mid bore Kawasaki that atv on demand leaked last October?

I’d think you’d have made a video about the larger versions by now did the 570 awhile ago and nothing changed. Did the highlifter sportsman 1000 but not the competition
It is only because Can-Am has not sent us one to evaluate. We don't have all of our test units for this season yet, so this could change any day now.

Disclaimer: No you can not take this thing into the deepest mud holes. You will get stuck almost every time.
I havent seen a quad yet that can go into the deepest mud holes. I've seen literal monster trucks that cant. I never understood why people build these $25,000 Renegades just so they can drive into a mud hole and get stuck within 15 seconds. Or the people who drive into lakes up to the handlebars and float around. Buy a boat.
only visco lock... ew... looks like it will be a 3 wheel spinner just like the old ones. the maverick XMR has a real diff lock, not sure why they wont put it on the atv's
Install a Torq locker
Keith James kinda lame to have to install a locker on a brand new machine, that isn’t exactly cheap to begin with. But honestly it would probably blow the diff into pieces with a real locker, so that’s probably why they do it like that.
@@dp4auburn it will lol it will grenade first hard ride, you need to put maverick diffs in them or they wont hold together with a locker in them

Difference of 14 horsepower for about $1500. If that's in your budget, then the 650.

I know this will tick off a lot of people but quads like this and aftermarket companies should not be allowed to make stuff like this. Let me explain. Being an avid atver I see all the time where the tires and the riders wreck trails on a regular basis. This shuts down trails period. Not to mention the off trail activity that pisses land owners off to no end which again closes off riding areas and makes for ugly terrain to say the least.
I have been enjoying this hobby/sport for many years and would like to continue to do so and these machines and their riders are not helping. Same goes for 160 hp sleds but thats another story for another day.
Dan Haasnoot So people only need to have what you feel is necessary? Lots of mud bike owners ride respectfully.

@@mattsimmons1971 well aware that there are responsible drivers/riders across the board in all aspects of the sport and I consider myself one of them BUT unfortunately there are a lot of irresponsible riders as well and given the tools to do damage with they will do damage.
Also have you not ever been riding down a beautiful trail and come around a corner or over a hill and right in the middle of said trail or even off to the side it ripped all to hell from big quads with big tires? Not only does it look like hell but also causes the trail to get wider and wider because people with not so aggressive quads or more mild in riding style have no choice but to go around the big hole.
Next issue is now the atv club has to fix these problem areas or they get shut down either by the land owner or the county that owns the land.
A couple of years ago my club had to spend 20 grand to fix a trail that was closed by the county as they deemed it unsafe and unsightly. Thankfully after the repairs we were able to reopen the trail but are required to put in monthly reports and fix any problem areas that crop up quickly at even more cost.
Last but not least it is getting very hard to get volunteers to help maintain trails and Im betting most if not all the people who wreck them would not be willing to come help for a day or two to repair the mess they made.
By the way I have put in considerable amount of time on the systems as a volunteer, Im not bragging about that but do feel I can have my say because of it.

Did you guys not do a few segments a few years ago about vintage sleds and how much fun they were? All of those sleds I seen on your show were less than 50hp and you guys had a blast for the most part did you not?
New sleds should ride nicer and theoretically be more reliable but you dont need stupid power to have fun and you guys proved it yourselves.
Imo the manufacturers should be focused on safety and reliability more so than speed. As with all things adding speed and power drops the safety factor by a large amount. Not all riders have years and miles under their belts and are able to handle speeds these high power sleds can reach. There is no governing of age or experience level so any one with enough money can buy the best of the best and go out and become a statistic.
I was young once upon a time and I my share of stupid things for sure (probably still do) but none of it was at the cost of any other rider that I am aware of.
I travel the trails at a nice sedate speed and enjoy the scenery and get out of the way of idiots doing 100mph or there abouts but I am also aware that they could be coming over the next hill at that speed on my side of the trail and that makes me nervous for sure. Look at youbtube videos it happens alot. Once again there are responsible riders but seems to be a lot more that are not and 160hp sleds are not going to help that in any way shape or form.
oh and plus you mean 3 wheel drive cus vsco is GARBAGE and mega meyhems are terrible as well
