    One of my all time favorites. Recently found one to play after 20 plus years. This restore is fantastic. Most people don't like to add old machines but this is perfect.

    I really enjoyed seeing your team bringing the Bride back to life!!
    Sadly, my only exposure to this pin is via a digital recreation as part of "The Pinball Arcade". While that platform is supposed to be portraying the table in its original state, your restoration makes the table look at least 10 times better!!!
    Thanks again --- And I'm going to keep dreaming of the day I can own a TNT restoration!

    Back in the early 80's, on a new pin, we removed all the parts from the top of the playfield and applied a full sheet of clear 3 mil mylar (similar to you putting on the sheet you did). We found that we had to cut around the posts and other parts fastened to the top of the playfield because the mylar expanded when the playfield warmed up. That would cause the mylar to buckle where it made contact with a part on the playfield. What keeps the mylar sheet you're using from buckling as it heats up and expands?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, almost all of the machines we sell go into private homes where heat would tend not to be an issue...and the LEDs make everything run cooler too. We have not encountered an issue even on trade ins from games we used it in then past!

      Not sure if you are aware, I managed a movie theater in Bridgeton Maine...near you! Back in the mid 70's. Watch Video #67 th-cam.com/video/JBauXd--OEY/w-d-xo.html there is some footage of the theater. The movie Carrie came out and Stephen King came to our theater when we premiered it! I stayed at a rustic camp called Long Lake Shores (on Long Lake)!

      We were able to leave all the wiring alone...but of course, we had to add connectors, etc...when we put back together again...

    Great looking machine, so I am guessing that the new mylar playfield should last longer than paint?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like paint..we are guessing that the mylar overlay will be okay...but its impossible to really know until the years add up...issue I would think is if the machine were placed in a store window and the sunlight was shining on the game...and the playfield heats up under that clear glass....

    if you put a nylon wash between the Nut and the Plastic that should stop any breakages don't over tighten

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our washers are lexan...and so far, it has worked perfectly...we are seeing games comping back we sold right after we started using the lexan washers and zero damage!

    • @johnsweda2999
      @johnsweda2999 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      TNT Amusements Inc no I mean between the plastic and nut

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      we do not put anything...manufacturers didn;t either unless there was a ramp mounted to the post.

    • @johnsweda2999
      @johnsweda2999 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      TNT Amusements Inc more likely that's down to coast having a metal not rubbing against plastic is not a good idea, will cause fracture around the whole having a Nylonl washer will cushion the nut to the plastic. that's the issue Jersey Jack having with the light pipes? on The Hobbit's , if a nylon washer is applied before the nut this should prevent fracturing because of hard plastics they're using

    Think in theory Jason did the Curt gag as he was the only one there :P Meanwhile poor steve is like behind everything.. Ever thought of Filming him with either a webcam or something else aimed from above (or below? yikes) working on a single table (edit time cause I'm sure he works on more than one table at a time. have a timer set in frame and speed the video up to show everyone how long takes to finish a table (no audio needed I think. or everyones a pair of chipmunks :P ) (meanwhile while you know the 2 games (and this one ) I love but I'm looking for a pot to **** in. , for the games you remove the monitor out, ever thought of shoving an LCD connector up in there for buyers who ask for it... Kinda throwing this out to the buyers as well) true CRT are easier on the eyes (blue light) than LCD, heck the latest androids and Windows 10 both have options now to tone the blue down (oh everything goes a bit yellow fast but you get used to it )) just a thought though. And just send them places to buy an lcd thats the right size etc (unless they know a guy who knows a guy :D )

      the webcam is not happening...the guys get pretty flustered as it is...if we had a reality show, or these videos generated money, that would be different....

    not sure why you need the lights behind your eyes? I thought of a good way when the balls land in her eyes that they will look like real eyes, reflecting in the balls . two ways you could achieve this the simplest is to get a white LED with a lens type,, it looks like about 45 degree angle behind the Shroud or whatever you call it. probably blue would be best brown,or green. get some coloured film so it's in a ring stuck on the front of the LED with the centre blackout , you can achieve this with paint enamel! black paint Matt will do the trick? leave a little bit say half a millimetre of white light around the edges of the coloured film plastic, to represent the white of the eyes. when it beams on the balls your see looks like eyes, you could try using movie film of Steel 35 millimetre film. basically what you're doing is turning the LED into a little projector and you're beaming a image onto the balls. what would look quite awesome thats what you got to do for your next one toddy
