Repairing and refurbishing pinball machines is our specialty, but we also buy, sell, and trade pins. Need a part? If we don't have it, we can probably get it. We are a veteran-owned, fully licensed and fully insured Tennessee Small Business.

The thought going through my mind was "Picking up a rat's nest of wires and parts on a floppy piece of cardboard.... What could possibly go wrong....?" (Curious dog wanders under foot and insert cartoon crash & bang sound effects.) That whole process looks like it is fun. Kind of reminds me of when I used to pull apart an aircraft engine for repair. Preparation was always the key. Look forward to stopping by to play that one when it is done. I have never played Funhouse other than in Virtual Pinball.

I’ve seen a few guys do the cardboard method , and because I work solo I went with unsoldering everything. I took the top of the playfield off first , then labeled and unsoldered, then all the bottom side , piece by piece . I cleaned and polished each mech as I went . Took awhile but worked nicely. The first one is always the hardest!

Except for everything being trashed, this one is not too bad...having a used playfield with all the holes pre-drilled.

My first swap was super scary . I took at least 200 pictures. I bought a roll of numbers and tagged every single wire before I unsoldered them and took photos . Honestly with good documentation it was a breeze . Now that I’ve done it , it doesn’t seem like such a big deal . Just have to document, document, document. Nice work !!!! Funhouse has a lot of Mechs that aren’t the easy to do .
